Can anyone recomend a Stove fitter near Ashford, Middlesex ?

I think I know what stove I want, either a Charnwood Country 4, or the Stovax 3, as only need about 4w.
I want multi fuel.
I assume I will need a chimney liner, as there is currently an old gas flu liner up there, which I assume needs to come out. The fire place hole is all empty and rendered.
So looking for an idea of where to buy fire as have looked online and cheapest companies are miles away from where I live so may need to order fire separate from the fitter.
Any ideas of where to get a fitter from ?
Thanks

Hi: try HETAS . Lots of advice also available here. A quality stove installed by a quality fitter won't come cheap.

I suppose there is no cheaper way of doing this, can I have my builder fit it then get it signed off by Hetas?0

The builder can install it to "document J" and then have a building inspector sign it off.
Guide is here:- http://www.planningportal.gov.uk/upload/br/BR_PDF_ADJ_2002.pdf
You don't have to use a hetas engineer if the builder is comfortable / comptent.0 -

Is your builder competent/cheaper than having a HETAS installer fit and sign off? See here.

Thanks for the advice, my builder has just fitted his own so knows what he is doing but will get a quote from Hetas and see how they compare, looks like my budget projections will be way out - sniff sniff.0

Going to shop tomorrow, have a phone quote for £1700 for fire I wanted, chimney lined, etc and hetas.
Is that reasonable ?0
