Thanks for the replies, happy now but mad :/

    Got their latest email response...

Thank you for your email received in our office.

Following a review of your claim, we have taken into consideration the circumstances surrounding the incident and it has been agreed to proceed with the repair of your handset.

Therefore, we have notified our repair center to continue with the repair of your handset and as standard any repair is completed within 5 to 7 working days subject to no components being required.

We trust this resolves this matter to your satisfaction, should you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Yours sincerely,

If they can repair this week but not last week, it doesn't fill you with confidence. How many others will just accept their refusal for valid claims and not kick up a fuss, and let these people get away with it?

Now the next bit which has made me mad is... The phone was sent to their repair centre, using the postal services they advised at a cost of over £10, that was on the 20th February, On the 2nd March a letter from them tells us they are going to return the damaged handset to us, 7th March they will advise the repair centre to repair the handset, any repair is completed within 5 to 7 working days subject to no components being required. New Casing front and back will be required.

    Here it is...
Not satisfied with the way the conduct their insurance claims
Will have been without phone for over 3 weeks
Could have missed work opportunities (income)
Already cost £64 insurance, £50 excess, £10+ to return form and phone

Is it work me bringing to their attention these matters? maybe ask if they can (as a gesture of goodwill) reimburse some of the Cost (excess and return costs), for the inconvenience caused by them?
