    This practice is very common with subsidized PAYG . The phone itself is £39.99. As you buy £10 credit, the Sim card which in this case "3" network come with £10,00 credit.

    The one other types that I bought previously from e2save is unlocked. Also I have read other people post mentioned that the phone fron e2save PYG is unlocked.

    I have not received my Sony Xperia X8 until today. I will post it when it arrives.

    I have got mine today and I could confirm it is unlocked. so I could out any sim card that I want to.

    It takes longer as they do not have stock and have to wait another new one to come. That is what they have said to me ....
