Internet package

I have an orange san francisco phone on orange payg

I am thinking of getting a Sim Only plan

Where I live I only get Orange and T-Mobile signal so can only consider those two and anyone who resells them (so no giffgaff etc.)

My main use will be using 3G internet with the apps on the phone. I make very few phonecalls and a handful of texts.

I was hoping for something around £10 a month - most sim only plans seem to start at this price and want a bit more for a reasonable amount of internet (250MB at least but preferably 500MB)

The best one seems to the most basic panther package here: http://shop.orange.co.uk/mobile-phones/price-plans/pay-monthly/sim-only

and then the 2 £10.50 ones here https://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/sim-only/plans/

the 12 month one has 300 minutes, the 1 month one has 100 minutes but to get internet they want extra on top:
Basic Internet Internet booster suitable for browsing and email on your phone. Network fair use policy 100Mb per month £2.00 per month
Add Standard Internet Internet booster suitable for browsing, email, streaming and downloading apps on your phone. Network fair use policy 750Mb per month. Includes access to WiFi with a fair use policy of 3Gb per month. £5.00 per month
Add Extra Internet Internet booster suitable for browsing, email, streaming, downloading apps and using your phone as a modem occasionally. Network fair use policy 1.5Gb per month. Includes access to WiFi with a fair us £10.00 per month

Do I have any other options - I'd prefer a 30 day contract tbh as I am soon to be starting a fixed term job for 3 months but after that I might not be able to afford a contract

I would go for the T mobile plan with basic internet as:

They do not charge extra to go over allowance(as Orange do) & only downloading is stopped once you reach the fup. Most apps will still work.
