My wife has the same problem. It is worth looking at the kids ranges of clothes, as often the 15-16 yr old range is huge because some kids that age are near enough in adult clothes.

I have a similar problem, im small framed at 5ft 1 but i have quite disproportionate breasts!
My bust size would give me a size 16 in tops, but my waist would give me a size 8/10!!!!
With breasts my size tops tend to be alot shorter on than on hangers!
George at asda did some lovely vest tops before winter :)
  • Thanks everyone, will try the recommendations :)

Re Primark - I get summer dresses from there in a size 6 and they're great, loads of choice and they're starting to get them in now - bought four last week for £20 the lot. I don't agree with their principles and if I could I would shop elsewhere. If it wasn't for Primark I would be walking around naked on top. I bought loads of vests from there last year and they're on their way out, getting baggy etc. I looked last week and they only had a really small selection of the string strap ones, which for some bizarre reason don't fit me.

I've bought tops from the M&S teen range before, the only trouble with the kids ranges is finding clothes that don't have kiddy motifs on them :)
  • OneYorkshireLass, I like some of the kids' clothes in Next. Not all of them are childish. I wear about an age 9.

I am size 6 and find it a pain too, not many shops seem to cater for this and it is annoying. However... I found that ASOS seem to be quite good, as their size 6 is a true size 6 rather than the ones you get in the high street which like to make them slightly larger as everyone likes to fit into a smaller size than they are.

Also I only buy long length vest tops as I have the same issue, just because your a size 6 does not mean your short :/
    Comping wishlist for 2017

  • I've been meaning to look at kids clothes in Next, thanks for reminding me :) Just looking at the website at the moment and there's some cute denim mini skirts which I bet I could fit into even though I'm an 8 on the bottom :)

Will check Asos out too, thanks.
