Cq, absolutely right......I didn't read back fully.

The seller will no doubt be livid that the buyer has the refund and the item!
  • If it was a 'no-fault' refund would it say so? It just says i've received a refund.

And looking at the tracking i think it's coming back :( I don't want it back dammit!

I can't remember how they phrase it but in the message about you having the refund it says something, along the lines of a no faults.
Hopefully they haven't done that, as that just lets crap sellers get away with it.
If, when it arrives back, contact the seller asking for a pre paid postage label & bung it in the post box.

    Here it is
eBay has decided to refund the buyer. You are not required to reimburse the buyer or eBay, and this case will not be counted in your seller performance evaluation.'Final decision:You were not found at fault.

Do you know what message the buyer would get, as the OP is the buyer.
Does it say something about not having to return it?

Should read properly:o ,doesn't say to return only "You dont need to do anything else."
    Case Closed: Issue resolved
You don't need to do anything else.
eBay Customer Support has refunded you through PayPal and the case is closed.
    Refund information:

We issued you a £11.50 refund to the PayPal account that you used to purchase this item. Please log into PayPal and view the History page if you don't see it in your PayPal balance.
    Final decision:
Neither you or the seller were found at the fault.
    eBay Customer Support comments:
"You will be issued a refund."

    It says:

'Final decision:The case has been closed in your favour.'

After ignoring me ever since I posted the item back (and they rejected it) they've started emailing me again now I've got my money back, which makes me think it wasn't a 'no-fault' one. I'm not sure though.

I'll ask either for a pre-paid postage label or the 2.49 it already cost to send it if they do want it back again. I'm not going to be sending it at my own cost a second time.

I wouldn't even consider sending it back.
You've done it once, the seller didn't want it, so I'd just forget about it, and refuse to accept it if you recognise it.
Or just bin it if you do accept it by accident.

At least it won't be back on ebay for the next poor victim.

It looks as though the seller quite rightly has had to pay the refund.
In your FB don't mention having to open a dispute, they can get that removed.
