NO !! auto protect is NOT FSA regulated, I checked with FSA and AP admit they are not, in fact they practically laugh as they inform you! do not believe the agent who keeps popping up on these threads.
one other point is that they require you to service your car twice a year to even claim. I for one do it once a year or each 10000 miles as per handbook.0 -

If you read the booklet, it will tell you to make sure that the car is serviced in accordance with the service shedule it left the factory with.
EDIT: Auto Protect ARE on the FSA register.0 -
They claim to be regulated with the logo on their website. So if you can prove they are not then make a formal complaint and get one over on them.
Or have you had a bad experience with them and just spouting off?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

I have a warranty with Auto Protect on my car and I think they are life savers!
My Turbo went on my Focus, I was looking at a £1200 bill..... Auto Protect paid the bill, they dealt with me quickly and efficiently and kep on the road whilst my Focus was in the garage for a week.
I work within the FSA - Auto Protect are Authorised and Regulated by the FSA, if they werent they would be getting a very heft fine for displaying the key facts logo on they're paper work. Their warranties are also an insured product - without FSA authorisation they wouldn't be able to have this status.0 -

HAHA which employee of APA is this? A 1 post wonder - what a coincidence. Funny that a turbo went on my car and they couldnt even be bothered to let me know the result. Like i needed to be told - "not paying up".
Reported to FOS and OFT. See you in court Jack."For those who understand, no explanation is necessary. Those who don't understand, dont matter."0 -
maybe they are fsa regulated BUT
I called the FSA at the time and they said they were NOT members, plus the company told me they were NOT, I cannot be any clearer than that...0 -
