I opened a new thread in the vouchers section as I had a cokezone voucher for money off on benefit I wasnt going to use and I wanted to know if it would be of use to someone else, but when I went back to go check on it, its disapeared. I havent been sent any messages to explain why, its just gone. Any ideas? As far as Im aware Im not breaking any rules offering this to someone else??

Why has my post/thread been removed without telling me?

Posts/threads are deleted so we're no longer "publishing" them. While you may have posted it once we are made aware of it - we are legally liable too as the publisher. When something is deleted, it's removed from public view but it's still viewable by the Forum Team and can be reinstated if it needs to be. It won't show up in a forum search.

We never contact people when their posts are deleted. The sheer numbers of posts removed every day means it's simply impossible to contact everyone.

The Forum Team won't respond to aggressive emails demanding to know why a post/thread's been removed but if you send a polite email asking, it may review or explain the decision where possible (sometimes legal reasons prevent this). If you're still unhappy email webmaster@moneysavingexpert.com

Why can't I give something to/buy something from someone on the forum?

The safety of our forum users is paramount and for this reason we can't allow anyone to exchange their personal details either on the open forum or via PM, however honourable the intention.

This means we don't allow selling/trading/exchanging/swapping or giving as gifts, nor links to your ebay auctions, or other forms of advertising.

No I am not. I just pointed out that abuse never let people know why posts get removed its probably because you are offering a voucher at a guess. Some posts get removed due to spam but obvious not the case here

I never said you sent any aggressive mails that was just a warning from the team if anyone did sent them they still wouldn't get a reply something like "why have you removed my post?"

I really can't see how it could be any clearer myself.

the pm'ing of codes is not allowed , if you have a code it should be posted openly

its not practical for the forum to message everybody when their post is removed

some posts are automatically removed when enough people click the spam button under a post
