Thanks for the words people, but I am about to put my dress onto Ebay. I cant believe after all this time I couldnt do anything with it. I have lost so much weight and tried so hard. The dress maker said they havent put any spare material in the seams for her to take out. I am going to the factory outlet in Leicester in the morning with my best friend so hopefully we will get something there. Never thought I would be looking for a new dress 3 weeks before the wedding.

Sickens me as well because my cake topper was made with me wearing that dress!!

Is it a zip up hun? The only reason I ask is that you can buy kits to make it into a lace back which would give you extra fabric.

If you don't mind me asking, how much do you need to lose to fit into it? Is it a really unachievable amount? It seems such a shame to put it on Ebay, especially as it's your dream dress.

The other option is to take your body back to M&S and switch it for a size down. I have a couple of dresses from my size 10 days which I love but at a 14 cannot get anywhere near them. I bought a full length M&S body in a 12 and I can get into them wearing that.

Well I managed to get another dress which I love even more than my old one! Its nothing like I would have normally gone for, but I was willing to try anything on yesterday (including a gypsy wedding dress!!) and as soon as this fell into place, I fell in love with it. Its a Sophia Tolli dress not sure of the design number.

I also spoke to the woman in the shop and she said that because of the designer of my other dress, its likely that it was more than likely 2 sizes smaller than it said! No wonder I couldnt get in the bloody thing!!
