Please do not take any offence cos none is intended.
Whenever you speak to VM, BT, Sky, etc. customer services, please always communicate your conversation (especially when you are offered any deals or are complaining) in writing to customer services or the CEO. For me, I always use email.
As a result of the above, I have got free BB, TV, phone and phone line rental from Jan-to-(at least)July this year.
I won't bore you with the full details but I was with VM at start of year, had loads of probs with my DD payment, transferred my service to Sky, probs with my initial set up with sky, etc. As a consequence, VM have offered not to charge me for anything for this year and sky have applied a credit to my account that should last me until July.
I just hope that Sky increase thier charges before then so that I can get their FTA or Freesat offering at no cost to me.
