cms parking ticket fine issued

Just do as bondy lad says. Forget it ever happened and cross "Loo Roll" off your shopping list next week. After a flurry of letters they will clear off.
The incorrect offence is a deliberate ploy to get you to contact them. That way it saves them having to pay DVLA for the keeper details, and they will try to get you to admit you were driving so they can threaten you.
Don't fall for it, just ignore them. Completely. They WILL go away.0 -
I could not get a space in a leisure park to pick my daughter up from a party at 8 pm at night. After driving around for ages I didn't want to be late so I parked for no more than 2 mins in a free disabled space. When I got back I had a ticket.
The parking charge states that my breach was 'parked after the expiry of paid for time in a pay and display bay.'
It is not a pay and display car park it is free parking and always has been.
It is UKPC UK parking control LTD a private park.
I feel guilty that it was in a disabled bay but should I pay this charge? They have the incorrect breach on my parking fine.
Sorry I couldn't find how to start my own thread!
Any advice?
Thanks
Why on earth did you pitch-up on a CMS thread then? Its not like we don't have enough UKPC threads in here!
Anyway, the advice is the same - just ignore the scammers and their attempts to scare money out of you. The less contact you have now, the sooner thay will give-up and move on. If you check the forum sticky, you will find their letterchain in detail, so you know what to expect and to tick them off as they arrive.
Oh and there is no such thing as a "disabled space" in the context of private parking - The Blue Badge Scheme does not apply on private property, so any ticket giving that as a reason is outright fraud. Not that this excuses general courtesy of course.0 -
Sorry I couldn't find how to start my own thread!
Ignore the fake PCN and letters from debt collectors, do not pay. Easy.
But starting a new thread is just as easy! See my signature for where to click on the small blue link at the top of this page. You will find you are then looking at the whole current parking forum (threads about UKPC and all!). If you had wanted to then start your own thread yoiu just click on the 'New Thread' blue button top left of the forum index. Not that you need to actually start a thread this time now as you've got the advice you need.
Whilst there, you really must read the info in the second to top sticky thread 'PPC letters & threats' so you know which letters will be sent out.
Get a preview now, and watch the Watchdog clip on there as well so you know that a solicitor shares our view that the fake PCNs should never be taken seriously. Watch it now, the forum index is only one click away.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi,
I parked in st Helens car park right under the sign that stated all cars must have a valid st helens college badge (which I have) and be correctly parked between bay lines which I also was. 5 minutes later an attendant issued a £90 fine reduced to 55 if paid within 14 days to me and 2 other carswith college badges. He claimed I was parked in the leisure car park even though the big yellow sign was right next to me and had no mention of this only the college. I took a picture to prove it but should I respond at all?
Thanks,
lilacdeb
Should I still ignore it?
Thanks0 -
Yes. Most definitely.
'Left Premises' is not a sufficient reason to have caused them any losses. So they are not entitled to pursue you for any.Je Suis Cecil.0 -
Just ignore it Deb. All part of the standard, well-rehearsed script to try to frighten you into paying.
If you've not contacted them and been good there is nothing they can do anyway, as they will not be able to show who was driving. So it's going nowhere.
Beware if you hear from anyone by message on here as there is a troll doing the rounds at the moment.0 -

No, carry on ignoring. If they keep phoning tell them its illegal to harass someone for an unproven alleged debt, and you're going to report them to the police.
Unless you want to have some fun. When they ask for you, tell them you'll go and fetch him, and then leave them hanging there for 10 or 20 minutes.
On the other hand, im told a football klaxon in the mouthpiece is pretty devastating at the other end.................**** I hereby relieve MSE of all legal responsibility for my post and assume personal responsible for all posts.
