Write a letter to them demanding that no doorstep visitors are allowed, and send the one with no calls either, template link in post #4 above. Would like to help further so please post a new thread for it to see what can be done to help.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
This sounds like debt collectors, moorcroft are not bailiffs as far as i can see, do not confuse debt collectors with bailiffs , they are very different.0

Usual Moorcroft bull, then, this company is a disgrace, if anyone else knocks on your door (or window, pixielill) tell them to leave or you will call the police, don't waste your time having a conversation with him as you will only be told a pack of lies.
The best way of dealing with this shower is to just ignore them, they have tried to collect three debts from me and just melted away after I binned everything they sent me.
They have added some fanciful charges to get you "debt" from £750 to £1800, and they know full well a Court isn't going to uphold them- not, I think, that Moorcroft ever go to court anyway, their speciality is trying to use non-legal intimidation- like falsely representing themselves as bailiffs.
I thnk they will give up on you when the going gets sticky and look for someone easier to con. That is what they did with me- not once but three times. You really have nothing to lose.
They almost certainly won't have the paperwork to make it stick at court anyway, that isn't what they do, they are just bullies pure and simple.0 -
I have had dealings with Moorcroft before.
They are trying to intimidate you so you agree to pay them.
Do not acknowledge you owe them anything and send them the various prove it/CCA request letters.
I wrote to them with a prove it letter and the calls/visits stopped.0 -
I have dealt with Moorcroft before however when I asked them to prove it was my debt they passed it onto another DCA.
I was told my account was on hold until the matter was sorted and I never heard anything for 8 months until Fredrickson's were sending me letters!0 -
Well took everyones advice and waited, Letter arrived this morning saying they were disapointed that despite their numerous attemps to contact me no agreement for payment has been reached, however as a last attemt we are willing to reduce the the debt to £756.29 if i can pay in the next 14 days. They are still saying their client is Barclaycard although my credit card was with EGG. they dont seem very well informed at all,Should i try to talk to Barclaycard about repaying the debt monthley not sure what to do now as everyone has said dont deal with Moorcroft. should i send the letter asking them for proof of the debt?
