I didn't go to T's in the end....phoned DD and told her about the nappy glitch instead. I'm being a good girl and catching up with doing OH's accounts........it's so BORING but will earn me massive Brownie points!!!!

I know that feeling, invoicing, I hate invoicing, its the most boring job in the world but when I show him a pile he looks so hapy, bless him;)

QoC's guide to getting your neighbours all knocking on the door....

cut down a tree at the bottom of your garden!!

My cats not too happy as it was one of her prime birding spots, but she'll figure out something else

Feeling happier about all this today, i think going back to work did me good. Plus, Misery Guts got to see first hand exactly what I have had to put up with this week :rotfl:

Thanks to Decay for the nappy glitch, sadly no good for me but I passed it on to a couple of friends who have 1 year olds, 1 definitley got them and the other one will probably be too late.

lol...my 2 girls are like chalk and cheese when it comes to the weather...DD1 is soooo skinny but hates 'sleeves'....and for the last 3 weeks before and after playgroup has changed into her swimming costume 'because the suns out and its nearly summer mummy' :rotfl::rotfl: Yet DD2 is a chunky monkey ..always feels warm, but insists on wearing a wooly hat and gloves...in the house :rotfl::rotfl: I know they say kids are like their parents, but honestly I'm not that strange...they must get it from DH :rotfl::rotfl:

As for the wardrobe....buy a couple of key essentials that wont go out of fashion so you can wear them year after year (think linen trousers/ vest tops etc)....and then scour charity shops or cheap shops like Primark/Ts etc for a couple of 'trendy' bits to jazz your outfit up a bit :) You dont have to spend a fortune, or constantly look 'the best/trendy'....you'll still look lovely wearing last years 'outfits' :) I think my linen trousers are about 3 years old from Primark...along with my £2 sandals from Primark...I just alternate the colours with different coloured vest tops each day :rotfl: I do actually have some 'nice' going out clothes to...and they're not all from Ts or Primark.....but apart from my coat I got for my birthday, I dont very often buy new clothes!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Looby, love your DD having to put her swimming cossie!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Playing catch up, about 4 hours behind, but the chat about Tricia and ciggies caught my eye.

Have to agree here, Tricia. :)

ExTesco is absolutely right; if you can get to Tuesday without a cig, you can stop. The nicotine in your body telling you you want a fag will be just about totally gone. :D

    More here: http://whyquit.com/whyquit/a_benefits_time_table.html

You won't need a ciggie; that's just you making excuses. :p

See my siggie (about ciggies) below. I was 30 years a smoker; I will never smoke again (need the money for all the drugs keeping me alive. :D:p:D)

And just wait till you sit next to a smoker on a bus ; realising that you once smelled like that will make you so glad you stopped.

Lots of support on here, love. We'll help and encourage you.

Don't forget the MSE side: Mrs OB and I have already got over £300 (each) saved towards our hols in France this year. That's in just over 9 weeks. :T

    Just my tuppence worth.

    OB

Well done Oldbear & MrsOldbear, thats fabulous:T:T
Keep remembering to say things, got a voucher for £2 from Colmans in the post because I complained one of their casserole bags split (Didnt tell them it was only 49p though;))
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
