Thanks but you haven't because I don't post any tips! I just give the "thumbs up" to people I recognise from here or if I think a tip is good or if someone has hardly any stickers.

Thanks :) I can pick out some of the msers on there not sure who is who though but some of the tips, questions etc stand out as being definate friends of martins :rotfl:

    Thanks. xx

It's just an appeal for my DS's secondary school place. He's been allocated a place at a school where none of his friends are going. He won't know anyone at all. I have appealed on social grounds and hope we have a strong case as DS has been through so much including physical and emotional abuse by his father, dealing with everything while my divorce is going through, my mum's illness etc.
we wouldnt normally give you a placement at the chosen school , "becuase his friends are there". sorry. but we would take in consideration the distance from your home/transport/other siblings, for normal secondary tranfer.
there are other rules for in year transfers though.
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.

People on this thread are so kind, milo for helping 3Dogs, Mymerrywidow for offering to help Chelsea girl...they are just 2 examples of kindness in the last few hours. This thread has a 'feel good' factor to it with everyone offering help and support to those that need it. :):):)

And not to mention sharing the finds, I don't remember entering for my freebies I got today but it was probably a link from someone on this site.

I also had a bit of a look at some of my "friends" activities on FB the other day when I added a few names from here so indirectly I'm sure it was an 11+er that helped increase my stash so BIG THANKS FROM ME :D
