snapant congrats on it not being a dvt:T:T:j:j BUT has someone actually told you you have erythema nodosum?? or is that self diagnosis? generally erythema nodosum is triggered by either a sore throat or drugs/medication, some antibiotics trigger it, the last photo was a bit of a funny angle and upside down so sorry i can't comment but it didn't look like an obvious case of EN to me. Treatment is conservative anyway, i do hope you get it sorted hun x
    :D
Thank you :o:o Entirely self diagnosis :o:o:o I'm now covered in a rash - very becoming & very very itchy :rotfl: :o:o Will go back to Drs :)

    Evening all :)

Firstly thanks very much Nikki for the heads up on cheeeeeeeeseee please :D I would have missed this if you hadn't posted, as even though my local had an SEL of £1, I bought 2 blocks yesterday with price flop coupons and wouldn't have been visiting the cheese aisle;)There were about 25 blocks in mine despite the £1 SEL so I was chuffed and bought 5 :beer:Still 30+ honeycomb TCO's on the shelf!

Currently defrosting a turkey crown bought for £1.25 on Boxing Day! :D Having a roast tomorrow night so all I needed was whoopsied veggies; carrots for 25p and a white cabbage for 10p :jGot whoopsied king edwards which make perfect roasters a few days ago and Aunt Bessies stuffing balls I got free with a coupon a while back. Dessert will be a square of whoopsied choccie traybake cake from yesterday served warm with a scoop of JTD Kelly's ice cream :T

Scanned the Finest swiss choc bar, still £3 and Tobelle, still £4. No Bendicks or boxes of purple ones.

One thing I noticed for the JTD list.....Heinz soup is 50p in A's :D:T

Lovely to see you posting tonight 3Dogs, no need to appologise for not stopping by, you've got so much going on! Sorry to hear about the bag trouble but as calmspirit said, it's very early days and you'll get there :) Glad to hear things are going well with Bess and Molly and so glad to hear Alan seems to be imroving with every day. Also fab news about the DLA and bill capping. Hope that's a little less weight for you to bear. Sending massive cuddles, you really are such an inspiration :Axxxx

Oh and I forgot to say earlier; HC and Westie sounds like you're having a fabby time, make sure you're getting snap happy :D

Maybe someone can help me, my Dad got x-rays done a month ago because of a stupid fall. When they checked them they found a shadow just below one of his shoulders and sent him out a letter to make an appointment with the thoracic medicine team in our local hospital. His appointment is at the end of next month.
My question is - if it was serious would they not want to see him right away?
He's panicing about it and both of us automatically thought cancer, my mum doesn't seem to realise how scared he is and won't take the day off work to go with him so it'll be up to me to take him but I'm worried too but also don't want him to go alone so offered to take him even before we found out that mum wasn't willing to. I know my mum must be scared too but he needs support and someone with him and thinks my mum doesn't love him anymore :(
Sorry for going into so much detail but I'm worried about my dad's mental heath as well as his physical state so want to try to put his mind at rest (he's 65 BTW)

Sending hugs SpiralingDown, I hope celebrate's post has made you feel a little more at ease about your Dad's health. It must be so hard adding somethin else to the list what with everything you've got on at the moment. Thinking of you :Axxx

I'm really slow on the uptake with the £1 clothing sale whatt with everything I've got going on I didn't even think about going when it started. Can someone please explain (gonna be really dense here so be warned!! :o:o)....was it like the 4p sale? Just looking for old season stock? Or were certain/all sale clothing marked at £1?? Thank you so much, I know I'm too late but it's been bugging me:p:p

i think i'm going to have to admit defeat tonight and not read back anymore, i'm exhausted and feeling a little rought tbh,
My youngest was sent home from school today :( he's got a really sore throat and bad cough and ive just noticed on my mobile that ive had messages from the school, they are sent to every parent via sms that say

92 pupils were away today ill. Ive spoken to public helath service- children should wait 48 hours after last symptoms before returning to school.
We apologise, but no large group activities can be held - therfore all assemblies - including friday morning ones are cancelled until after easter.
school nurse will be visiting to do hand washing techniques with all pupils and dicussing personal hygiene ect.
if your child is unwell you are advised to visit your GP and to inform us of what they say. there seem to be many viruses going around. DIOLCH
    From the head

    Umm sounds serious doesnt it?

using the coupon, it would cost me 74p for the lot?
  • 24 blocks of cheese and 12 boxes of the finest dessert chocs today. Not tooo bad but did have to try quite a few T's before I got the chocs.

I gave plenty of boxes of chocs and tons of cheese to customers. I do like my karma.........

You buy 2 blocks for £1.60 each and thus qualify to use the £1.00 off coupon.

However the blocks are on a 2 for £2.00 offer, so you pay £1.00 for 2 blocks.

    Edindevon

Sorry ... where do I find this coupon? TIA x

Oh I'm proper jealous of that! I went on one with my mum back in 2001 and it was one of the best holidays I've ever had! Just make sure you take fat clothes as you'll need them at the end of it with all the free food they give you
Sounds like you won't be needing any fat clothes missy! to you, well done on another fab loss :T
