Have invested in 10 packs of cheese. As I had already invested in 17p pasta sheets and 22p wholewheat pasta while back, I'm hoping my return might be a few lasagnes and macaroni cheeses. :D:D:D

Thanks so much nikki :T. Store I went to had plenty of stock as SEL still said £4.28 (will PM if any locals want to know where ;)).

Been on a bit of jolly to couple other Ts, one had SEL of £1 for the cheese and there was just a few left so will probably be gone now, but I did relieve them of Purple Bars. :j And some 50p boots just my size, can't believe my luck. :j:j:j

And then on the way back last store had loads of Purple bars so could not resist getting a few more but loads there still. It is fairly local if anyone wants to know.

Also found the Dormens spicy nuts but these are scanning £1.01 now.

I'm on a high for now such a thrill finding the boots. :D

No there isn't. The list of coupons was posted by tonyg on PTS last Friday. Suffice to say that a lot of people will be stocking up on Lurpak at 50p per block.

How does it work out at 50p a block ?

You buy 2 blocks for £1.60 each and thus qualify to use the £1.00 off coupon.

However the blocks are on a 2 for £2.00 offer, so you pay £1.00 for 2 blocks.

got proper cheese envy now! Love the stuff but it doesn't love me esp. the extra mature ones, pinched a little cube this morning and now paying for it, got serious heart burn :(

Maybe someone can help me, my Dad got x-rays done a month ago because of a stupid fall. When they checked them they found a shadow just below one of his shoulders and sent him out a letter to make an appointment with the thoracic medicine team in our local hospital. His appointment is at the end of next month.
My question is - if it was serious would they not want to see him right away?
He's panicing about it and both of us automatically thought cancer, my mum doesn't seem to realise how scared he is and won't take the day off work to go with him so it'll be up to me to take him but I'm worried too but also don't want him to go alone so offered to take him even before we found out that mum wasn't willing to. I know my mum must be scared too but he needs support and someone with him and thinks my mum doesn't love him anymore :(

Sorry for going into so much detail but I'm worried about my dad's mental heath as well as his physical state so want to try to put his mind at rest (he's 65 BTW)

Please try not to worry, as far as I'm aware, if cancer is suspected a referral appointment is made within a fortnight. My GP reffered me 'query pancreatic cancer' after cysts were left untreated. This was purely to get them to see me sooner!? I was terrified at the time, I'm only 29! I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. Be there for your dad and reassure him. :A I think Celebrate could be more use than me!! Hope it all turns out OK for you. (Don't be too hard on your mum, everyone deals with these things in a different way, she's probably worried sick.)

Stick together, you'll get there. :A Really hope all is well. xx

Edit: I see celebrate was indeed more help! And beat me to it! :rotfl:
