got proper cheese envy now! Love the stuff but it doesn't love me esp. the extra mature ones, pinched a little cube this morning and now paying for it, got serious heart burn

Maybe someone can help me, my Dad got x-rays done a month ago because of a stupid fall. When they checked them they found a shadow just below one of his shoulders and sent him out a letter to make an appointment with the thoracic medicine team in our local hospital. His appointment is at the end of next month.
My question is - if it was serious would they not want to see him right away?
He's panicing about it and both of us automatically thought cancer, my mum doesn't seem to realise how scared he is and won't take the day off work to go with him so it'll be up to me to take him but I'm worried too but also don't want him to go alone so offered to take him even before we found out that mum wasn't willing to. I know my mum must be scared too but he needs support and someone with him and thinks my mum doesn't love him anymore
Sorry for going into so much detail but I'm worried about my dad's mental heath as well as his physical state so want to try to put his mind at rest (he's 65 BTW)SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Just got back and there's no way I'm going to catch up with today's posts!
Been to N£wton A88ot T's where there was no cheese....just a space where it had been!
Did find some of the purple choc bars...well 44 of them to be precise, and there's still plenty left if anyone near me wants some. I took the only 3 larger boxes of them though and the one lonely popping candy TCO!
I couldn't spot any of the others mentioned and I scanned lots of the other boxes of chocs, but none were 1p.
Whoopsies were dreadful, so I didnt' bother waiting, just collected my duvets, bought 5 cartons of value orange juice,8 pints of milk, some squash then went to a manned till with a young lad on it who happily put my 1p chocs through.
The total using my JTD on the pizzas from last week was £2.21 :T
On to Saisbobs then for whoopsies which were really good...spent £11 odd but got a trolley full. They are definitely better than T's lately and it was all stuff I'd normally buy.
Got some lovely flowers reduced from £15 to £1.99 too.My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

Sorry I didn't post last night but been having a few 'bag' problems

I went to Ald! yesterday and got a larger dog crate for Molly and it will be much much better for her :j great value for £24.99 :money: :money: By the way, she and Bess have really bonded and play together all the time, it's lovely to watch them. I went to car boot and had a wander round updating our friends there. Alan had a nap while I was out. I don't like to be out too long as I know Alan worries about if his bag leaks and he can't do it himself and asks me not to be long
I know he will get used to it in time once the drainage bag has gone, hopefully on tomorrow. We've had several 'panics'. When he'd been in bed about half hour last night, he knocked on wall for me as bag had leaked. When I checked it was the drainage bag which had leaked but that in turn had loosened the other bag. Both bags removed and new ones attached - all sorted by Nurse Susan

But being 'Nurse Susan' and keeping Alan feeling good is making it hard for me to concentrate on other things which is why I want Macmillan to sort that side of things out for me. Anyway, the lady from Macmillan rang this morning and took details saying Alan should go for Pension Credit which he will qualify for once the DLA is sorted he doesn't qualify at moment due to my pension but gets extra allowances re DLA/Carers. His DLA form should be here very soon and mine withing the week, and she has to apply for Consultant's report, so will arrange a meeting with us when this is al to hand, which will be held at North Cambs Hospital Wisbech as that is closer for us, which is good. I feel like that is being dealt with now and I can stop worrying about it
The District Nurse came again this morning and changed his wound dressings. I checked the wounds and they look very good :j Still having problems getting good seal around the stoma bag and drain bag as they are situated so close together that there is an overlap but I have put an extra rim seal to help this situation and just hope that the drain bag can be removed tomorrow as that will make a big difference
Just had yet another problem with it as I was posting
I haven't been out at all today and am still in my dressing gown from this morning
It is actually cooler here today, quite chilly - where has that sun gone too? I'd hope to get sheets washed and out on the line instead of relying on the tumble yet again. I rang Anglian Water and they have capped our water bills. They cap it at the average annual bill of £398, which we have been under, about £340 I think she said, but as I have definitely been using much more water even in the last week, with washing, toilet, etc, I am sure we would have gone over that. They are sending someone to do a test reading, followed by another after 7 days to estimate our new usage and will take it from there. I just have to ring the electric company next
