back from my tightwad trip out:rotfl:

when to one t's found 11 white TCO grabbed and rang. were a couple of weeks out of date but have checked and can't taste any difference:D

went to another t, found one lonely dark tobelerone and a purple one. Picked up the telegraph too.

no yoghurts. were marked up 25p so sold out.

another t's nothing but picked up some herbal essences and an oral b 123.

also popped to boots. got my self an olay professional for the moneyback offer and made it up with sanctuary to get free gift and used acm for 150 points.

also placed order on line for sanctuary products and a pair of fit flop boots.

found the trymefree bueno but no method laundry or cheap chips in sainsbob.

quite happy though. how much chocolate can 2 people eat:rotfl:

Nice one thank you! :T

I'll look for a cheapie cheese then to add to it and give it a go because that works out even better!

I would advise people not to be in the queue behind me at T's today!

I'll be trying a couple of new potential JTD's today and hoping they compare -

    Perle de Lait Coconut/Lemon/Toffee - T £1.97 A £1.50
    Nesquik Strawberry/Choc/Banana 300g T £1.97 A £1.00:eek:

I'm hoping particularly for the Perle De Laits to use the £1 off coupon and if JTD kicks in 2 x 4 packs for £2 and they are lurvely...mmm!

Nesquik compared for me today! £1.92/£1.00 (Choc one)

I wandered into a thread about newspapers earlier that was discussing money off tesco shops in newspapers.

One mentioned specifically was the point collecting in the Mail.

To collect £5 for tesco you have to spend £18 on the paper over the course of six weeks. It does not seem to make sense.

Does anyone do this? Am I missing something?

If you have go to the hospital with an emergency then they transfer you by ambulance to another hospital with A&E. The new hospital has all individual rooms for patients, that can be locked from the inside, rather than wards which is good, although, a patient locked themselves in their room and suffered a heart attack and it was a few hours before the patient was found.

My mum has been in the Royal Gwent since boxing day and has been in a room of her own and in a ward, both have pros and cons. When she was well enough but unable to walk she was much better in a ward so that she had people to talk to pass the time - tv is £20 a week.

In the room it is more private and family can visit out of visiting times but often it means out of sight out of mind with some nurses - when she has struggled to breathe she was just left to it (a part from family obviously).

I think that new hospitals are great but its the staff and budget the hospital have that actually impacts on the patients. The treatment at the Royal Gwent has had some truly horrific moments with St Woolos being even worse.

Does anyone know how much Tesco finest toblerone type chocolate is scanning at?..it's in a long rectangular dark coloured box. Just that this afternoon in store an assistant came and started emptying the shelf telling another customer 'that you can't buy them as too cheap'...there was no scanner in the store otherwise I would have scanned one to see how much.

    sounds like the 1p one i found.
