What sort of idiot builds a brand new hospital with no A&E?!

We had 2 hospitals in our town and they demolished one and turned the other into the Primary Health Care headquarters ( at a cost of £16 million pounds). Now about 5 years later they are moving out and most of the building is up for let. Then they built the new swanky hospital in the next town but it too has a minor injuries unit that only really deals with bandages and such like. A few weeks ago I was on the way through there with my 85 year old Mum when she said she felt really unwell. So I pulled in and took her in. We were told we had to wait as they had an emergency in one of the wards ( even though they have seperate staff on this dept). They would not even take our details as they were too busy discussing what they were having for lunch. In the end I said I would have to take her elsewhere. So I called our doctors and they told me just to wait there. But she was really wobbly by now so I drove home and called 999. They were at the door before I even put down the phone and were brilliant. When I told them about the hospital they said they could not comment but one said he had worked there but had to leave as he did not like the way the dept worked.
My Mum had just been taking too many of her dizzy tablets and was soon better. But just proves what a mess the NHS is in

Would you mind explaining how you add the free gifts please ? My page only adds on a free gift when I spend £10 and there is no box that I can see that allows me to change the number of free gifts. I'm probably being thick!

add 3 for every 3 items you have, works only in multiples of 3 ( I think )

I took the kids out for breakfast for any single parents its a great deal. It's a great deal for all. Beefeater £7.99 all you can eat cooked and continental breakfast inc costa coffee and fruit juices, but two children under 16 eat for free with an adult. Fantastic deal and good quality.

    HTH

Brilliant deal - I bet the place is full of single parents and parents with weekend access :D

Strangely not. I thought it would be but as the one I went to is near Manchester it had a table of very quiet hungover lads in. That was it. Its on 7 days a week. Normally places only do 1 child eats free per adult so I thought 2 was a great deal for large families as well. My kids ate more than me and the hungover green looking lads:rotfl:
