Good morning everyone.

Almost got trouted yesterday. Went to spend a JTD vouchers for £4.96 at the SS till and a young male assistant came over as the voucher wouldn't go through.

He said confidently that they no longer accept those vouchers. I explained that it was a JTD voucher not a DTD one and that I was still able to put details into the Price Checker. Assistant said that they'd had a 'code 8 meeting' (or something like that). I started to get stroppy so he said that he would ask a manager.

He came back aaaaages later and just said, 'Yep that's fine', and put the vouchers through - no apology or anything. Then he 'explained' that a man kept coming into my store with forged JTD vouchers, so they were checking every time someone wanted to use one.

I indignantly showed the SA my receipt and pointed out that it was obvious that mine was genuine - and that I wasn't a bloke! :rotfl:

Humph!
