Just back from T's, got myself 12 more of the QS Purple Bars, 10 of which were for my neighbours, also got there at the right time for flowers, my neighbour (via me) got two gorgeous bouquets of mixed dark red and cream flowers (1.88) and some lillies (1.25), she was very impressed especially with the first bouquet which she's giving to her mum tomorrow.
She was laughing in disbelief at me when I totted it up to £3.23, saying the chocs are marked at 59p but you've got 10 there for 10pI sometimes wonder if she thinks I'm off shoplifting when I say I'm bargain-hunting :rotfl:
I got myself some ale flavoured ham for 88p (sounds soooo nice) and a couple of bunches of flowers, plus 2 of the purple bars, it'd be rude not to at that price!
I said I was off to Brizzle one day next week and gave her a list of the other 1p items I could remember, she said can she have 2 of each, I said you have as many as you want, I'm not ashamed of taking more than that through the till!
Here are my flowers, the main bunch was £1.25 and the flowers at the back (which are apparently some sort of lily) were 75p. I can't arrange flowers for the life of me but I think they look alright.....0 -

The Fairy all in one dishwasher tablets - 38 packs, lemon or original - are £10.19. In my local, the sel was correct but they had an Olympic Games themed paper banner sticking out from the shelf advertising a special offer price of £5.
Paid £10.19, DTD £10.38, paid 19p to take each bag away
I love free but I really love better than free :rotfl:
Edited to add - £7 in A so I shall hopefully get a JTD for £3.19 per bag as well :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
thanks for the heads up on this
got 4 today, the olympics label was on the shelf below but clearly states the 38 pack lemon/original is £5. Manager tried to squirm his way out of DTD said some rep sneaked into my store and put that label there. Anyway long story but I got my DTD in the end, that goodness it's not one of my locals.these r the ones i got this morning
4 x 125 g pots.. Sel £1 but scan obviously cheaper... There in a blue cardboard wrapper .. Barcode 172 and 196
dont forget if u wanna use the yoghurt moc in the price flop leaflet u need to buy 12 packs of these to get to the £3... in the end you will get 48 yoghurts for £2
only the raspberry flavour would scan at 25p for me today I've got rather a few though (cough cough) they were in fact marked at 25p in one of the stores and it was a manager who was putting them out called me over while i was picking up the strawberry ones and said why don't you get these?:eek::eek::T:T:T:Tchandlerscroft wrote: »Picked up another 6 packs of the Duracell Ultra today, the store had still got the bogoff sign up, although there was no yellow SEL it clearly stated bogoff, CS were only offered the bogoff, when I challenged they said as it had no yellow SEL, it was not a DTD.
Manager agreed to honour bogoff but no dtd, so rang HO Customer Service, after 10 minute wait, they confirmed it's still an overcharge, does not matter about a SEL, it's an overcharge DTD due, so went back CS, who was dealing with someone else, I said heres your head office they agree your wrong and handed my mobile phone over, she then passed my phone to her manager, after another 5 minutes got my DTD.
Sadly again they left the display up and I did notice there was also 3 other displays still up in the store, please bear in mind this is the third DTD from this store for the batteries, I am now up to 36 packs, sadly I had only gone in hoping to get DTD on the fairy 38 pack as reported earlier LOL.

ps hope that's not the green eyed monster there dopey because if it is i won't take offence, half of my shopping has already been delivered to my sister (whose husband has just had emergency surgery so they have little to no cash coming in) the other half (except the youghurts!) usually goes to my mother (when she gets back from her hols)
i didn't post to boast, it's not me posting pictures of any stashes
my intention was more to tell people if someone like me who hasn't been out all week can find a few bits there is hope!!GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED

Celebrate, no green eyed monster here, I am really glad you get the bargains you do. You are one of the old school 11+ and as such I owe you a lot for the guidance you have given. My first few months on this thread was a real eye opener. I can't believe how much I poured down the drain due to ignorance.
I only say I wish you were my Dr, 'cos I think you are cool. Would be gr8 if I could share shopping bargains with my Dr. Suspect mine would think I was mad though.Avatar courtesey of HC :beer:0
