    Afternoon all!

Really  at the moment! 6 weeks ago I took my cat Gunther to the vets with an eye problem, he was prescribed antibiotic drops which I administered for 10 days and the problem went away. Now it's reoccurred and the vet wants to see him again!

WHY? It's obviously the same thing and he probably just needs a longer course but no, they want to charge me another £35 consultation fee first, money-grabbing :eek::eek::eek:s!!!!!

Our vet only ever charges one consultation fee for the same complaint

    Get well soon Gunther

Going through emails this morning I found one from Pizza Express asking to complete a survey. It was quite a long involved and complicated one but it said I would get an email in a few days for a free pizza :T
So its worth checking your junk emails to se eif you also had this one.

In fact its worth registering with all of the big resturants so they will email you with their various offers (look on MSE discounts for eating places lists for ideas of who to sign up with)

Also see if your local smaller resturants also have a webpage. One of my daughters local eating places (very posh place where even the starters are over a tenner!) sent taster evening invites for the spring menu change, 5 tasters plus a drink for £10 and one of mine gives you a print off email for a free drink when you register.

Hi i had the same situation with my dog.So i rang the vet and said i just wanted the ear drops again as they worked last time. In the end he let me pick them up at the reception so i didnt have to pay another consultation fee. when i picked them up the receptionist did tell me that if the vet has seen your pet within the last 6 months they can prescibe the same drugs again without seeing the vet.I just told my vet i could only afford the drops. Its worth a try.
  • Does anyone know if the Bushmills whiskey is pricechecking.?I don't know if to buy it at Tesco for £18.57 or drive the 15 miles to Asda and get it for £10

these ones :) if you go on tesco.com you can see a picture, they only have the toffee ones on there for £1.00 but apparently the fruity ones should be scanning at 25p for 4, if you go to the food shopping board theres a thread started on there too, just dont buy the toffee ones because they're going through at a £1

Has anyone got barcodes of these ones that go through for 25p please?

(Always forget to go to the foood shopping board - probally spend too much time on MSE as it is ...)

Afternoon all. Not a major saving but I got frozen salmon 2 pieces. Priced on pack as 2 for £5.00 NEW. Shelf said 2 for £6.00. Different barcode but exactly same product. Anyway £2.00 DTD back.

Thought I had some cheap Toblerone as in Christmas wrapping but went through full price. Shame I'll just have to eat it anyway!
