HC just tried to reply to you but your mail box is full up, another place worth looking at is Richer Sounds - they do some cracking deals and i know John Lewis price match to them as have bought stuff before. Not rip off merchants and give excellent advice - worth taking a look at xxx

Also if you join their VIP club (no charge) you get things cheaper and they also give you a £10 off your first purchase as well :)

    Oooh, thanks. :)

We were in JL earlier and I asked for discount and answer was a resounding no. It's difficult to get discount from ANY retailer up here as they think everyone works in the oil industry with Aberdeen being the "Oil capitol of Europe" so I don't know if they will take too kindly asking for a price match.

One of the benefits of buying the TV from JL is the five year warranty.

    Hello all :)

Could I ask a big favour from those that frequent the discount codes board?

I'm looking for a code for John Lewis, preferably one I can use for 'Click n Collect.'

    TIA. :)

I must say JL are an excellent retailer :) I worked for them a while back, their customer service is second to none :D

It does make you mad:mad: doesn't it?

Can you say Gunther finds it stressful to go to the vets so you would rather not unless you absolutely have to? I hate the way they have you over a barrel and you have no choice.

If I had my way there would be an NHS for animals as well as for people, vets bills are so high it makes you wonder how most people afford them.:(

I know just how you feel . I have
felt like taking my dear departed animals to docs before now its cheaper.

Can you claim some discount not sure what it involved HC posted link couple months back think it was for PDSA.

I am sure he will help you again. :)
If you get Council Tax Benefit then you are entitled to free treatment (leave a donation) at the PDSA.

Thanks for all your help everyone but I don't get benefits and I can afford to pay but I just feel like it's money down the drain, I bet it's just that he needs a longer course of antibiotics to completely clear the infection!

Mind you, my GPs are always telling me to make an appointment before they'll give me more of whatever medicine, even though it seems like a completely pointless waste of time, maybe the vets are actually being caring. Unfortunately the fact that you have to pay so much puts a different slant on things doesn't it?!

My dog gets eye infections. Instead of going to the vets I just buy the drops from Boots. Only costs £5 odd. They work just the same. HTH.

Thanks but I'm not sure I want to risk it, dogs might be more human eye-wise than cats.....
