I guess I better start getting cash out from now on. So use to plastic, will use cash if I see a DTD opportunity in the future.
I'm addicted to upping my clubcard points though...0 -

We were the same initially WiB , always had a bag of bags etc but when the supermarkets and others stopped issuing them we found that there we had a shortage of bags to wrap items before putting them in the freezer etc ...
when we cross the border into England we take up the offer of bags at every opportunity .
I miss bags too, I freeze fresh bread but I cant now as I havent got any, and I refuse to pay 5p for a bag.. What annoys me is, why should I pay 5p to advertise a particular shop??!!! If the bags were plain, without the name of a particular shop I wouldnt mind as much, but I refuse to advertise AND having to pay for it!!!!Thanks to the OP on the quality street purple one :j

DH has just informed me that one of the lads that works with him is going...dressed in a pink baby sleepsuit, complete with nappy and bottle :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: thankfully ours arent quite that bad.....Moulin Rouge this time.....I went as Snow White last year...and doing the Ann Summers Fallen Angels in Mayhoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
I remember a while back a newcomer to the thread asked how we found all these things and someone (Lala I think) said 'carry a big list'. This is so true.
I finally found the Temptations biscuits today, still going through at 1p and also a blast from the past - Spontex Flexi Soft (blue/yellow, 2 pack on a clipstrip) also still 1p. Barcode on the pack ends 3041 but is stickered over with 7062. My list goes way back so I still had the details of this one.
I found some Glade candles (again, thanks to Lala). They had no Spiced Apple but I got a couple of the Glistening Snow. They had another wintery one I thought might work - Winter Berries or something like that - so I scanned it - £4!!! Bonkers.
I also got a box of 'Cadbury's Milk Chocolate Biscuits For all the Family' - 290g, cream colour square box and purple scrolly writing. SEL said £6, reduced to £3 but scanned at 75p.If you're not scared, you're not paying attention0 -
Am so excited, not managed to catch up properly yet but I think I may have found my first 1p find. :j
Tesco Finest Desert Chocolate Collection. 300g
After reporting that the Thorntons spirits were gone at one of my locals I went in opposite direction. And these had no SEL, don't remember anyone reporting them sorry if they do have an OP. And sorry to all my locals I did relieve them of all the boxes.
I also did a big shop there and remembered to put my pizzas through seperately and Mr T was kind enough to give me a £6 off 40 till split, could not believe my luck as lovely SA used all my conditional spends including my new one and got a whopping £16 off my shop. Each conditional spend kept me above the limit for next coupon, must be my day. :T:T:T:T0
