    You know Arsenal are a team I don't mind watching (until we play them on 31st March, Man U are like watching paint dry (you'd know all about that ) & it annoys me with all the pens they get. Can't stand Fergie either

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I kinda like Ferggy, he winds up the other managers,
    and even though they know it's coming they still react.

    Kevin Keegan's reaction was the best hairdryer ever.

    as for the penalties, well fwiw if you watch the man u players they do tend to get themselves into positions where th simplest touch ends in a penalty, i'd say well coached sir A.

    If Lukas Podolski signs from Cologne ars firepower goes through the roof, he score quite a few international goals and should do well for the Germans in this years euro's ( good bet england to lose )
    Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

    It's really good fun but be prepared to get protective of your stash;);););) and it's not unusual to sit and admire it!:o

    That made me laugh! :D

    All four ovens of my Aga are filled to busting with jars, cans and bottles. Visitors give me some very funny looks when I go in there to retrieve something. :rotfl:

    Issy,issy,issy that has just had me totally in hysterics, my DH has to use a ladder to put stuff away and now when I go and get something from the stash he thinks it's hilarious to ask me
    if I've signed the inventory book!!:rotfl: :rotfl::rotfl:

    Lol. Nikki, do you think it is something to do with them being builders?

    :(:(:(:( I'm so sorry Tricia, as Nikki said (thanks Nikki :A)
    I posted above that I re-read my original post and I think it could have been taken the wrong way which is obviously how you interpreted it and I'm so sorry, I really didn't mean anything offensive at all.....let me explain.....

    The guidelines regarding exemption of payment for prescriptions are centred around replacement of what your body lacks naturally. That is my one and only reason for mentioning Diabetes...it's a very well known illness and I was merely illustrating the comparison of my illness to another, both of which stem from lacking a particular substance but one illness qualifies for free prescriptions and one doesn't. I have NOTHING but sympathy and understanding for anyone that has illness in their life, growing up my second home has been hospital. My mother has Rheumatoid Arthritis, blood clots and Bechets syndrome, my Father has Multiple Sclerosis, I have Lupus, blood clots, Osteoporosis and have been Anorexic, my Grandfather has prostate and skin cancer and Alzheimers, my Grandmother has COPD.....:o:o:o I have a neighbour who has been seriously ill with Diabetes for years and from a young age we were always taught what to do if we found him in a diabetic coma, my uncle also has the disease.

    Your poor Father, Tricia, he went through so much. Please understand my point has absolutely nothing to do with Diabetes, it's severity or the suffering it brought to your Dad or anyone else. I was simply moaning :o that as a household we spend in excess of £350 per year on prescriptions and now I just sound like an unsympathetic hypochondriact and I'm completely embarassed. Of course money is nothing at all in comparison to a life and I'm so sorry if you interpreted my post to mean that.

    I'm so so sorry to anyone I've offended, I'm gonna go now and have a little cry. I'm sorry :( xxx

    ETA: Just to say thank you to tigerwhite and tbw :) xxx

    don't get upset please. It's really tough when you have to pay for medication. I pay for my asthama and high blood pressure meds. It's tough when you hand over your card and you've spent more on inhalers than you do in food. I get upset when they offer a free flu jab but won't give me what i actually need.

    I find myself only taking my blue inhaler when i need it, never bother with the white one.

    Also i am sorry for your dad tricia but i can also understand the other viewpoints. My boss is a diabetic but gets free meds even though he's a millionaire. :mad:

    Explain to me how (back when I had to pay prescriptions) I could get birth control for free yet I had to pay for life saving medication in the form of asthma inhalers? Even the pharmacist commented on it.

    The system needs looking at.
