:rotfl:she gives me the dtd buy then asks me to sign and give my address. Is this last bit normal.

I had this a few weeks ago on a DTD i had. I gave it, then rang HO to complain about being treated like a criminal and made to feel embarrassed in front of the queue. I didn't have an issue giving my detail but trouts have a nasty habit of making you feel you have done something wrong, despite DTD being their national policy. I rang HO and told them exactly that and got sent £10 gift card for my trouble

While I was waiting at CS in Mr T this afternoon for a refund on my Family Circle biscuits which scanned at £6 not 1p, another customer was holding a pack of Bernard Matthews 10 Golden Drummers. The CS assistant was on the phone saying - "they've gone through at £2 but the labels says £1.50p." May be useful to someone who buys them.

I've just been to T, no Galaxy choccies, no Glade candles, no ecover BUT I did pick up two bottles of the enormous Fairy W.U. Liquid - 1200ml bottles, RTC for £1.32 i think. So thanks to whoever posted it previously, think it was happy or four p.

I did buy a Krispy Kreme but unfortunately they were not on offer, I'd like a 1p glitch on them!!:T

:mad::mad::mad: Gahhh! Don't even get me started on the subject of prescriptions! There are 3 out of 4 of us in my house on more than enough medication to warrant buying 3 x 12 month pre payment certificates at £110 each (ish) every bloomin year. Now it's a fantastic saving don't get me wrong but I really don't understand the logic as to what illnesses are classed as applicable for free medication and those that aren't. I've been taking prednisolone steroids (and about 20 other drugs daily) since I was 5 (now 24) as my body doesn't produce cortisole naturally (which is apparently the criteria for receiving free meds)...however a diabetic will receive insulin free because their body is lacking in it. I know I'm blond but really I see no logic in this whatsoever! My Father has MS and Mum has something like arthritis and both of us are also blood clot sufferers....but for some reason none of this makes us exempt?! MADNESS!

Have you tried appealing to your Primary Care Trust? It sounds like you have a good case for exemption.

I am an non-insulin dependant diabetic yet I get my prescriptions free as I'm on tablets to control my blood sugar....

very quick, for any of us that go to TP, no Thorntons spirits left in the RTC section, there were loads other day so someone had beaten us to it.

Also nothing else remotely xmas that I could see except the Aero mint trees and they are still scanning 65p. HTHs
