I offer to show her were and she snaps back "i know were it is".Then she comes back and tells me how i was mistaken.I tell her no im not and i will show you.Off we go and there it is.Back to cs and she talks to another member of staff and then calls someone and then with a face that could kill gives me the dtd buy then asks me to sign and give my address. Is this last bit normal.

Depends on the store I think - my local always asks for surname & postcode

Sorry to quote myself but when you guys and girls do dtd do you pay cash or card to keep off the radar.

    Afternoon Glitchy Crew

Just back from T's and found the 1p Thornton's chocs, had spotted these a while ago but they kept scanning at £3... only 5 boxes left so did the decent thing and took em all... ;) Thanks to the op for this

I can also confirm that the Cathedral City combo that I thought of last night does work..:D

    .

Thanks to the OP, restricted myself to 4 boxes BUT they are yummy. Should I really get any more when I still have 4 lindt bags, 10 CDM, 4 TCO and 2 Cadbury Xmas boxes left?

Also heads up that the stationery aisle has lots of RTC, some pretty stuff, some modern stuff, not dirt cheap but cheap enough.
    :starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:

I don't think it really matters unless you are doing "A lot" in which case I'd use cash;)

    Good Afternoon Elite

Decided to take back 2 packs of the "Free" duracell AA batteries to exchange for the bog2f AAA tesco xtra life. After long discussion with SA & duty manager finally ended up with 6 pks AAA & a refund of £5+ :D:D

I had 3 small JTD's from wombled receipts & rustlers voucher this plus the refund paid for my basket of shopping & ended up with change to take it away! :T:T
Checked a trolley load of stuff with * but all at SEL price:(
None of the cheap Ecover checked all items in that brand but no luck. No Choccies either.

My Boots sanctuary stuff arrived:j:j:j. The 3 free gift sets come in nice gift packs will make great additions to friends pressies but check inside each pack as first one I looked in one of the tubes had opened & made a mess. But overall really pleased with the Glitch.

Just looking forward to receiving my Thorntons Egg.:)

If you want to stay off the radar no point in using your clubcard either, in fact isn't it more important not to use the clubcard than to pay in cash unless you have a Tesco creditcard also. A question for the serious DTD peeps

Hi dcon , Thick person here :rotfl: the knife coupons at £12 each what are these please ? I am wanting the scissors and chopping board and not seen these £12 coupons :(

    Hi Tweets

Sorry for being misleading ... there are no £12 coupons for the knives offer.

It's just that when you buy the scissors/chopping board with the 70% off coupons the item goes thru the till at full price e.g.
    • scissors = £9.99
    • chopping board = £26.99
And then after your basket has been totalled ... the 5 coupons you've collected take off the 70% (£7 for the scissors and £19.00 for the chopping board).

For most of the knives the 70% is £12 and the price to pay is either £4.49 or £4.99 ... which if you have a £5 off wys £40 makes one of them free.

    Hope this makes sense.
