    These are so funny :D

I work for a retailer and was pushing one of the empty stands back out to the stockroom, thinking I was clever, i'd left all the attatchments on it. As I was trying to push it through the door one of the bars hit the fire alarm and smashed the glass setting off the fire alarm, not only evacuating our store but the whole of the shopping centre at 1pm on a pay weekend Saturday

This was 5 years ago and i STILL get comments from the centre security and my friends :o

I've done the nearly getting in somebody else's car thing. To be fair, husband had just got a new company car which I wasn't familiar with.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who remembers in long gone school days, calling a teacher Dad.........

My friend did this : She drove to my house at around 9 pm ish - She popped in to tell me she was picking me up in the morning so i offered her a brew as usual , she accepted - We got chatting , so another brew - and a couple of hours later she leaves - i ask where the car is {she says around the back as the road was full with cars - as there was an event on } so I offered to walk round with her as its now late and dark around there . To find a her 4 week old baby asleep in the back carseat :eek: She was horrified as she had it in her head he was at home with oh !! What would anyone who went to the event thought when walking past :rotfl:
so i think baby leaving must be a common occurrence:cool:

I too have got in the passenger side of the wrong car after waiting ages outside the train station - I went to the back door threw my bag in the back seat - Slammed the door - Got in the front raging about how i had been stood there for over an hour - Pressed the lighter button on the dash - still raging on waiting for the lighter to pop out I then lit my cigarette took a huge blast - in between shouting & swearing of why did i have to wait so long !?!??!! - to exhale very slowly when i looked a him - And it was a very shocked man with his eyes wide open !!! I then had to get my stuff out of the back and go and wait with all the other people who had just seen what i did - Then see his pasenger turn up and get in the car - My lift eventually turned up an hour later - and I was too embarrassed to rant and rave by then :o

OH the other day - He had no house key so before leaving for work i asked him to put my house / car keys bundle in the glove box of the car and leave the car door unlocked . Until i got home . He did this - However he did not shut the glove box - So on the glove box door on show was my bundle of keys ontop of my car insurance docs with my address on - Parked across the road from my house when i arrived home that night .!!

  • I have taken the lid off of my yoghurt top and then thrown the pot in the bin.

I've tried on some poor randomer's shoes in the shoe shop because I thought they were for sale and looked nice.

I've apologised when bumping into mannequins.

I've spent ages looking for my glasses/phone when they're on my face.

These are just the things I remember off the top of my head, there are many many more!

My Mum is the star for this. I always tell her if strangers call she must ask to see ID. Shes 76 and a bit forgetful so when she asked the Gas Meter Reader last week if she could see his 'Thingy' I'm not sure which one of them went redder.

She complained to me after a blood test how little 'lobotomists' got paid on the NHS and then just before DD went to France last week she asked if she'd packed her 'artillery'. I am assuming in those cases she meant Phlebotomist and itinerary but I can't be certain.

As for me, I've had my moments.... I once hid OH's car crook lock under the front seat in a rough area. He hadn't got the key and couldn't put it on so I hid it to prevent anyone breaking the window with it. When the first mobiles came out he was telling me all about these new 60 free minutes a month plans to which I replied 'thats useless for me, I'd use them all in half an hour'.

I came out of the shop after buying a stamp the other day, with my purse and an enveloppe in my hands. Got to the mail box, and promptly posted my purse. :o

Had to wait for half an hour till the postie came to collect the mail so I could get it back. He said it actually happens all the time...

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:That made me nearly wet myself

I sometimes am on the telephone talking to a customer when i start to get the giggles for no reason. I cant speak and have to hang up. Then i compose myself and phone back and apologise for getting cut off.

I have also got into the passenger side of my car and then sat waiting for me to drive:rotfl:Did this once and people were stood around so i pretended i was waiting for someone else and sat for half an hour.

I also have pretended to be talking to someone on my mobile phone so that i didnt have to talk to someone only for my phone to ring.

My work have swipe card security on the doors.

Before now I have spent more than 10 minutes at a time trying to swipe into my house, with people walking past looking at me like I'm crazy.
