Does anyone kindly have an estimated idea of how much it'll cost (and best garage to go to) for painting a side wing?
Got one replaced but it's a different colour to the rest of the car

Upwards of £150 a panel.0 -
Depends what sort of job you want doing. If you want it factory finish then it will be expensive, take it to a back street bodyshop for a quote. However, repainted panels always show, so I'd tend to go to a motor factors and get spray cans. If it is primed properly first, then the results tend to be acceptable if you build up several light coats, unless your car is worth a lot.0

The BMW cost £480 for a front wing respray. Mind you it was a quality job at a BMW bodyshopYou scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I’ll tickle your catastrophe (Henry IV part 2)0

£80-£150 depends on if you wanted to take it off yourself and take it in or have them paint while on the car. easier when painted off the car limits labour in masking off.0

the only way to get a worthwhile answer is to go to a few bodyshops not garages with the vehicle and get them to quote
not many will be willing to slap some paint on a wing because its highly likely not to match the adjacent panels and they would probably not wish to do it in case customer used it to bad mouth them on things like internet forums

hope that includes the £15.00 wing form scrapy! by saying meterials.
best thing about a mixing machine is you can make as much or as little as you need. you wont even need 200ml of base on a pre painted wing, your just putting two coats over an existing coat then laquering it with another 2 coats of clear there no need to prime it.
scotch pad the laquer off the panel ready to be painted, then 1500 or 2000 grit wet dry paper on orbital blast over till smooth.
i can have things like this done free. DIY can job or go to OH uncles body shop either or.
there will always be difference in paint shade, most of the car has uv fade anyway fresh paint stands out, but at the end of the day, a good paint shop will tone the colour down to compensate for uv fade this is where real money comes in and a fully prepped panel can take hours to complete by a perfectionist.
i dount the OP is looking for the showroom finish scvale just that it matches the cars colour and it shines with on laquer runs.
things like these body shops can take or leave, its pettty work and most shops will charge for it becase it take a man away from doing a insurance approved job wich earns them real money.
my advice is tell them its removed, because a car not filling up the booth is time and money saved for them, a 30 min job the can dry with another vehicle in the booth is pocket money for them.
believe me tell them youll remove it and drop it off theyll see a profit from £100.000 -
