er yes they do in high season, when a total cost comparison is done.

I did LHR-FCO-BDS on Alitalia August bank holiday week, because the flight times were more convenient and total cost including checked bags £75 cheaper per person than ryanair.

OK, fair enough. Yes, I guess when you're right on a bank holiday weekend that's true. I found the same myself when looking for a flight to Rome shortly beforehand last August, in fact. This flight is less than a hundred quid, though.

Won't have any baggage - I'm so used to it I wouldn't know how to pack a case anymore :-)

I can't really answer your question as to whether there will be no tax sale, however there certainly have already been no taxes flights for Ryanair in July as I've booked my EMA-TFS flights on there in early January without taxes.

Hopefully someone will be along who knows a little more of their patterns.

After scanning through all the emails from Ryanair in my Deleted Items folder and not finding any since January offering no taxes on summer flights, I decided to go ahead with the purchase. Fingers crossed that email is not about to land in my inbox!
