Motorola V525 Unlocking from Vodafone network
My daughter gave me her Ex contract phone (Locked to Vodafone).
As I was shopping in town today I went in to the Vodafone shop to enquire as to the cost of unlocking the phone. Much to my surprise they were quite happy for me to call them with the EMEI No. and they issued me with the unlocking code FREE (Some companies charge £30 I believe).
If its of any help to anyone all you do is call 08454 400194 and listen to the options to get you to your nearest store. They can then lookup the code on their computerand give it to you on the phone (took 2 goes to get the correct code).
