Morning everyone, and big hello to Prophecy_Grrl!

I'm no low-spender, I generally do my damage on the weekends when I don't go online enough to 'confess' ;) heh heh.

NSD here today though, have soup, bread, a tiny bit of cake and loads of apples. And loaaads of earl grey, to keep me off the coffee (lent!)

I've fallen off my new diet it would seem. I'm still eating wholefood, but little things like muffins have crept back in. This is all due to my sister visiting for half term and the house being filled with lots of nice things to eat. Will get back on a healthy eating regime next week.

As for spending, I spent 75p yesterday and I'm going to spend £2.30 or so on lunch today. Otherwise the £25 is still in my spending account untouched. A friend of mine is going to lend me a bmx, so I'm quite excited about hooning around on that.

Otherwise nothing much else is new - get paid friday and am having a lean month next month. Not least cos my grad loan interest gets applied, but so I can slam said loan with £900 in one go.

If I do that for another 10 months, my grad loan will be no more... 10 months though? That's quite a mountain to climb.

  • Hi Moozie & All:D

I didnt get round to posting yesterday:rolleyes: but i didnt spend anything.

Today, i was going to go into town and do a bit of window shopping but when i saw the rain i decided i had plenty to do here instead! However, now the sun is shining and although its tempting to go out, im in ironing and baking mode! Anyway, it'll keep me from spending unnecessarily....

    So, i'll get to the point.....today is a NSD:T

Moozie, call me old fashioned (or anything else!) but a map and a compass is less likely to develop faults and is much more DFW! :rotfl: I wonder if Mr Moozie has a good sense of humour??:rotfl:

    Have a great day everybody:D

NSD for me today as Starbucks are offering a free tall coffee between 2-4pm so I will be popping in there for my lunch time coffee.

It's some promotion to thank us all for visiting etc etc.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

I saw that in The Metro last night... damnit! I A) left Metro at home and B) am not drinking damn coffee!!!!

I'd kill for a red cup. Wish they didn't just do 'em at Christmas.
  • 97p on a Diet Coke and a Nutrigrain bar.

    £5.67 left.
  • Today I are mostly celebrating the OH's birthday, so tonight will not be a NSD!
However, we've gone packed lunches every weekday for a month now, so we've both saved a bloomin fortune (£4 a day each is a helluva lot of money for two sarnies and crisps/fruit). However, I got a £14 refund for changing to cheaper contact lenses today (they're better for my eyes AND my wallet don'y you know), so we're on "free" desserts at least. Otherwise, it WILL be a NSD.

  • Yup my OH's birthday next week and she's been hinting at presents so I might fall off the wagon and buy her something else!

Will need to spend £1 on posting a bank charge letter (registered) today to get back £30.60 or thereabouts.

I've brought in a sandwich, so no money needed for lunch.

I've got my eye on a laptop on ebay, which I know I shouldn't buy, but hopefully it will finish before I realise and then I won't be able to buy it! It's not in my budget. Dammit, how do I stop myself?
