I so badly want to see your pics too but I think I might get a jealous bride-zilla head on because everything sounds fab!!
I was one of those who had initially planned a full cooked breakfast when we were looking at a local hotel but we have now moved to a pub reception so catering is slightly different! Ive told other half one of our options will be their rustic Kentish fine beef bacon cheeseburger because its amazing and presented in a lovely way, he rolled his eyes but nothing would be more appropriate than me eating a fat juicy burger on my wedding day!
In the evening we are going to go for party platters of Thai food, mini fish and chips and a cheese board. Am having lots of mini cupcakes too so people can just pinch them as they fancy and any that dont get eaten can be taken home!

Where do you find these venues that let you do all the creative meals? Apart from just hiring a bowling club or something - which is probably what we'll end up having to do - I haven't come across anywhere that doesn't just do the three course meal thing. Love the fish and chip idea! 0

A lot of venues will discuss different options besides a three course meal. Failing that, you need places that will allow you to use your own caterers...and you have options:
1) Marquee
2) Village Hall
3) Barns
4) Non-traditional venues..I've seen pictures of people just having their wedding receptions on the beach, in parks etc.Me too!! Infact why not just post them on here for us all to see
