soolin, do you really reckon RM could argue with me if I had to put in a claim for 2 packages to the same person? I mean what do they look at when investigating a claim? I could say I couldnt fit all the items in together. or i could get the person to pay for one set of trains, post that on one day and then get them to pay for the other set of trains another day and then post them. so the packages would have been sent on different days and if I had to make a claim the invoices would show they were paid on diferent days so i could say that they could only pay for one and had to wait a few days to have the money to pay for the other. Am I any more protected by sending via tnt express (i would be using them through transglobal). I just want to send the items with peace of mind knowing that of they get lost im covered to get my money back.

I would send RM in 2 packages but make sure that I know which train is in which package. I don't know if that would make a claim if needed easier or not.

I had to put in a claim for an international delivery I split into two parcels neither of which allegedly arrived. RM paid out on both. I was worried that they wouldn't as it was all paid for in one transaction.

hello me again, thanks for the help everyone. i actually ended up phoning RM customer services this morn just to ask their advice. the woman said as long as i have a proof of postage slip for each package and can back up what was in each package with an ebay sale pae and paypal page then i would defo get my money back if the trains happened to go missing.

i asked her what about if in the worst case scenerio they both went missing and then i had to put in 2 claims. whould it be looked upon as dodgy as i had sent 2 parcels to the same person but she said no they dont look at stuff like that. they just need the proof of postage and info to back it up doesnt matter how many packages are sent as long as they are all under £46 i am covered.

i have also sent 2 invoices to the buyer with half the trains on each so there will be 2 paypal transactions. just to make it easier
