Book before 2 March 2007 and you can enjoy a massive 50% off reward flights for over 100 routes, with seats also available in Club Europe. Available for travel between 16 February and 31 May 2007 (excludes travel starting between 1 April and 9 April).
This means you can get return flights to destinations such as Vancouver for £180 taxes + 25000 BA Miles (equivalent to £284) , Tenerife for £43.80 taxes + 10000 BA Miles (less than £90 equivalent), Prague for £56 + 4500 BA Miles (equiv £76) and many more destinations.
The longer the flight, the better the value!!! The Vancouver flight is worth £590 for the equivalent non-flexible ticket or around £900 for a flexible one!!! All for £284.....
Don't compare these to normal ECONOMY BA Flights, as Economy tickets are NOT flexible. BA Miles tickets ARE flexible, so represent incredible value for money compared to normal BA prices!!!!

Bit annoyed with these BA email promotions.
My email claimed that I could get a 'free' flight from London to Dubrovnik by redeeming 4500 BA miles. Great thinks I - I'll book it. When I try, it says "you have insufficient miles to cover this journey". But I have 5100. Have emailed BA (this is more difficult than you would believe), but am not expecting much of a response.
Previously, another emailed promotion promised free BA miles for updating my details online, which I duly did. Did I receive any miles - did I heck. Complained via email. Received a less than satisfactory response from their 'email centre' in Bangalore (or somewhere in India).
BA seem to be shooting themselves in the foot a lot these days with customer service issues. Not in the Ryanair league yet, but getting there.0 -
Ooooops.... Apologies for that - have deleted erronious duplicate.0

BA are useless anyway... I had saved ALMOST enough miles for a trip to the US then for no reason they suddenly deleted them all without warning. I called them but they didn't want to know.I ♥ MSE0

Just shop at Tesco (get a Clubcard) or get your gas and electricity from Powergen (Powergen give you Tesco Clubcard Points).
Earn minimum of 250 Clubcard Points (=£250 shopping) and get 600 BA Miles each quarter for every 250 points, or in 120 mile/50 point increments over 250 points.
Or, get your foreign currency from Travelex website by pre-ordering using the AvisBA.com website link for best rate (better rate than BA's own website link
) and you will get 1 BA Mile per pound. Usually about the best rate available as well.
That way your BA Miles will NEVER expire. As long as you top up your BA Miles by at least 1 mile per year, they won't take them off you.
We get most of our BA Miles through Tesco (although we do get some from flights!!) and get typically 12-15000 BA Miles per quarter, although I would note that we get all of our food shopping/petrol/diesel (and do a lot of mileage) at Tesco and make use of extra points vouchers etc etcBritish Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -

Actually, BA's website says that to keep your miles balance active you just have to to earn or spend some miles every 36 months. Pretty generous, I'd say.

Well, lo and behold - received another marketing email from BA stating that their previous email was erroneous.
I can now book what I wanted previously - well done BA (for a change). Still, the "free" flights to Dubovnik and Prague cost 46 and 56 quid respectively - all fuel surcharge and HM Govt. Tax.
No such thing as a free lunch, eh?0 -
Apart from Tesco, how else can you boost up Air miles?
Is this offer one that appears regularly? One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.0
