MobileCashMate revaluation

Anyone used MobileCashMate to sell an old phone? I sent off a 2 year old Iphone 3Gs, expecting to get £100 cash for it. They just emailed me to say that the screen is scratched and the case is cracked...whilst the phone is 2 years old, it has been in a case with a screen protector since day one...

For this, they are now only offering £80. A couple of tiny almost invisible scratches are not "scratches/marks on the outer casing and crack on rear case" as claimed.

Their T&Cs say:
  • Have no scuffs, knocks, cracks, dents, chips, scratches to outer casings/cosmetics/phone body and battery/back cover
  • Have no scratches or marks on screen at all -
Pretty difficult unless it's a brand new phone...

Naturally, I've rejected their revised offer and they are sending the phone back (at their cost).

Just thought you'd like to know that even though they were initially offering the most, you'd be hard pressed to get that offer...
