Need to leave virgin

I'm on the broadband only plan and need the paper bills which they charge me an extra £1.50 for! It all comes to a total of about £24/month for just internet.

The only thing I'm after is unlimited broadband but then they increased the price and !!!!ed me off!!!

Does anyone know where else I can get unlimited broadband for cheaper? I've been with virgin for three years now and it's gone from £15 to £24 in that time and that makes me really mad.

  • Oh and not to mention that my internet goes off at least once a day and resets itself. I keep calling them and they say it won't happen again but it bloody does and I'm tired of wasting all my credit to talk to virgin employees!
  • Most unlimited broadband is around £20 but doesn't cover the whole country, depends if there is LLU at the exchange. It also doesn't cover line rental, which you might find is part of your Virgin bill and could be the reason the price is higher than others.

Also, most ISP's don't provide paper bills. If it's absolutely necessary to have paper bills, invest in a printer?

Unlimited broadband isn't really necessary, a lot of ISP's that have monthly limits have an unlimited period overnight (usually 8pm-8am) so you can set your big downloads to run overnight if you need to.

If you want to switch from VM cable, then you'll need a BT-based line first to get any ADSL broadband service. There are no other cable providers.
Do an exchange search on https://www.samknows.com to see what your LLU options are.
