Hey guys and gals!!!
Missing you all, cant wait for next challenge.
It seems this thread was my social life through Easter, lol how sad!!!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
You are not the only sad one CAFCgirl, I was thinking the same!!
How is everyone? Perhaps too busy spending to log in!!
Ciara - how did the interview go??0 -

Sounds about right, i would say I've gone mad, but actually I haven't really, but I've bought stuff that I've been meaning to get like stuff for the garden, new wiper blades for the car, plus stuff for the BF's birthday. Most of it can be offset against money I have in savings or budgetted for. I filled the car up with petrol at lunchtime and thought if I'm not careful the bank are going to question the use of my debit card as for 6 weeks it's hardly been used.
Now I've had the excitment of being able to spend money I think I'm not going to spend anything else this week unless it's using the cash I already have (less than £10).Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -
Hi All - have missed you lot recently. Spent £26.80  on clothes yesterday in Tesco (should have been £41 but had 20% off and £6 voucher), but contemplating taking them back as didn't enjoy spending the money at all and not sure whether I really like them anyway. OH spent £30 today on haircut for himself and DS, 3 keys to be cut and lunch in the market!!! So that's £56.80 gone in the blink of an eye and I must say I DON'T LIKE IT:mad:
Can't wait until next week and the new challenge so I can go back to some normality and rein myself in as I know the Queenie will be wanting answers to questions :rotfl: :rotfl:
Take care - miss you all, have a good weekWhen you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0 -

Me too. Had to do some shopping today and ended up in front of the magazines. Then had an agument with myself: "Go on, you can buy a mag or two. The challenge is over!" "No, I don't really need it, and anyway, CAFGirl says NO!" - and I walked away...
Same thing when I saw the leftover Easter eggs, and again I walked away..........feels great!:jHe who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.

Good luck with interviews Ciara, Turnaroundsue I've also bought things on e bay this week and even though they haven't arrived yet I feel as though I don't want then and I have wasted money. I also got a large delivery of timber and hinges to make a run for my naughty hens. Chicken wire was out of stock though. I am going to keep them in for a while in the mornings to lay their eggs then they can go and play in the fields, but not in my vegetable plot which also is caged in! This all feels like a huge extravagance and I still have no hair conditioner. We go to a local town on Friday and I am going to buy myself a really good conditioner. Can I buy lots so I don't need to buy any for a while on next challenge?business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

shhhhhh but I sneak conditioner into my grocery budget, as it's really a grocery and toiletries and cleaning stuff budget.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -
first of all double   @ the revelations about hair conditioner!!!
secondly yes I have cracked, literally........ and spent money....
£12 of it was from birthday present from uncle
£8.5 of it was mine!
triple
However!
I dont feel guilty, and it was nice to treat myself.....
plus it was only in Primark
Got myself a new top (which I love even though the BF called it hideous!), a belt, one plastic shopper bag, over body bag, new purse and an umbrella to put in my handbag, I'm fed up of always being caught out in the rain!!!
So not too shoddy really
Have been working on the new challenge, so i take it no requests for special rules? Or anything anyone wants cleared up?Wealth is not measured by currency0
