Congratulations to you all! have been reading this thread with admiration. Happy Easter one and all!Resolution:
Think twice before spending anything!0 -
I second what Beemuzed just said. You are all inspirational, and I never for one minute doubted that you'd make it. I am so glad you shared your journeys with us.
Enjoy your break, then on to the next challenge  . I will be with you in spirit on that one, but then I have been "not unnecessary" for the last four years, since leaving work! (That makes it sound like I was unnecessary at work but now I'm necessary... doh). :rotfl:
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

Well folks what have you spent today??
I have confessed to my shoes & if I had bought them during lent would certainly had an excuse ready!!
Even so - no chocolate!! - which is very sad given it is Easter!!
My main 'hankering' for the rest of the week is the manicure - pedicure thing I have hinted so much but DH is not going for it. He has naturally occuring MSE genes!!
I love him and hate him 'cos he will brag about having cut up his plastic, but forgets that so much of our spends have been going on mine
Not any more!! in the spirit of Easter I am a born again no unnecessary spender!!0 -
P. S. The shoes that I have bought are those really bad lokking but so comfortable crocs & i got cash bck through quidco!!0
-
So let's have a link to a piccy of your shoes Pippo
. You are very brave, buying shoes off the net - I hope they are comfy!

Spent nothing today, I went to the newsagents but it was closed, so couldn't get any chocolate. The BF then decided that he wanted chocolate so he drove to the garage and got me some as wellDebts: Mum £3923 0% APR0

Oh dear, you are making me work for this spend aren't you!
Think I may have manged to forward the picture. Nope that didn't work!!
I will take a picture when I get them!!0 -
DH has taken me to the pub cos 'he' forgot it was a special day. ie - no chocolate!
had a conversation about becoming boring old farts 'cos we don't get out much! I brought in the bit about when we used to got out lots, but it cost!!
Think (hope)we have agreed a happy medium - walks in the woods and ONE pint at the local - trip to market town - buy bargains but no extras!
I will wear the bad/sad looking shoes that I have bought until they drop off my feet when we go for those walks!! - honest!!
On our combined income we shoud be looking at treating oursleves now, but the ccs still require alot of feeding............... Never mind .. this time next year should be a different story!0 -
Forget what I said about not spending money, just spent £19 on ebay for the BF's birthday present, he had better like it dammit, otherwise I'm having it !! Thankfully my paypal account has lots of money in it from where I've been selling stuff so I haven't had to pay real moneyDebts: Mum £3923 0% APR0
