My Dutch buyer (see post 8) has been in contact again, he obviously hasn't read my previous emails. He really is the rudest person I have come across in a long while and he is now threatening me with all sorts of reports about being a scam seller who keeps the money and never sends anything, and a disgrace to ebay and paypal.
I have phoned ebay who were really really nice, they say his emails look unreasonable and they have marked my account to say that should I have issues with feedback later they will look into it for me as anything less than a positive would be malicious. They can also confirm that he has received my emails via the ebay system.
ebay say I can afford not to refund him for a few more days yet, but agree that if i refund him now at least that's the end of it and any reports etc will be laughed away. So off to refund.
That's it, sorry lovely Dutch people but I'm not prepared to send anything to the Netherlands again. I thought things like this did not happen to you Soolin, on lovely, fluffy Ebay
Doesn't it annoy you when they accuse you of all sorts, even though you have excellent feedback to prove different?
And doesn't the speed of their INR claim and subsequent over emphasising of the point, with regular abusive emails, make you think 'scammer' inside?
I had one arrive in France and the buyer said it was too small (despite putting all the measurements in aswell as the size). When i said send it back - he said it had not arrived.
Now i have a spanish buyer, who says it as not arrived after just just 3 days. He was a NPB, who paid at the last minute - clearly seeking revenge for the NPB i filed.
I have a russian one on its way too - i thought i had blocked Russia - but at least the buyer has left a positive feedback, as soon as he paid.
The price if items as risen since posting abroad - but TBH, i might increase postage to cover the losses or send airsure and signed for - but have you seen how much they charge? And signed for deoesn't usually update on delivery.0 -

Actually I don't think he is a scammer, he has left feedback suggesting he has an issue with his address. I just think he is an odd little man who seemed completely surprised that the UK is not in the Netherlands , the idea that ebay assured him item should be there in 3 working days is nonsense and when I spoke to ebay yesterday they said that nothing at all would have given him that impression. I suspect that he just isn't very bright.
The fact that he has a week between his emails also suggests that he doesn't get online very often, so really doesn't understand how to communicate in an email. We see it on all sorts of online communication, the idea of raising an issue in a polite way seems to escape people and they start with the childish and stupid insults to cover up their lack of education.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I am absolutely staggered to read this from you tbh, soolin - whatever happened to, "it's the buyer's perception that counts"?They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

That was what eBay told me and as they have had the benefit of seeing the emails which you have not, I am prepared to accept their view.
I have never ever suggested that a seller should take abuse or that any user, buyer or seller has the right to start being aggressive.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. So if a buyer is rude to a seller in an eBay message, does that automatically negate any complaint they may have with the seller's service? Genuine question. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

No I don't believe it negates a real complaint. My buyers item , as far as they are concerned is 'lost' although ebay say it is still too early for it to have arrived. So my buyer is angry, but instead of blaming the post which appears to have affected other items he has bought, he starts being abusive saying basically that English people are thieving lying scum who don't bother sending goods if they go for first bid . He claims to be reporting me to everyone for being a cheat and thief, and that's what ebay say is un acceptable. He is entitled to be cross that yet another of his items didn't arrive within a week or so of payment but that is his opinion.
So I suppose a calm neg saying 'item didn't arrive but got a refund' would not be pulled by ebay, but if he uses this sort of language or makes accusations in feedback that it will be removed and that is what he is threatening to do.
However he only gets online about once every 5 days or so, so I iwll have to wait until the next installment.
I will also, even if i get a calm neg, try getting it removed- as I believe everything is worth a shot.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Both my aggressive buyers, after a string of messages that made me dread looking at my inbox, left perfectly pleasant FB - I decided that to them FB was official, whereas messages to the seller somehow didn't count.0
