I was hunting around for a new iPhone 4s, and came across a website called extrabuy.co.uk. Doing a internic search came up with an address in Wales, but the website is actually based in the Ukraine.
Its got a deal for a new 64gb white one for £439, which is a good price, but I am a tad suspicious. It also has a verisign seal but the web page isn't secured.
Anyone heard of these people or dealt with them? Is it legit or should I take a wide berth? And as if its not odd enough, there's only 3 ways of paying, one via bank transfer, one by ukash and the other by a paysafecard. No credit or debit card facilities. Just want to be sure before I part with any money.

Definitely a scam, Apple use very strict rules with regard to selling prices, I'm sure that price is probably under the cost price Apple charge their retailers for the 64gb version.====0

Other obvoius pointers to a scam:
1) No address on the contact page.
2) No email address on the contact page.
3) No phone number on the contact page.
4) No company details on the T&Cs page.
5) Return policy includes a 5% restocking fee - Illegal under DSR.
6) Prices that are too cheap.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

Whilst I agree that it has every hallmark of being a scam, the answer to your question above is in the question that the OP posted.
"Anyone heard of these people or dealt with them? "
Perfectly reasonable question to ask and didn't deserve your reply.0 -
It wasn't by any means a dig at the OP?
Merely an attempt to get them to move on and forget all about it.
The OP's post implies he/she was giving it a 2nd thought?
No biggie. Just basic psychology.0
