    Good morning everyone!

Apologies - I have been MIA for a few weeks!:(

All is ok with me, but I've decided to give myself a month off from the challenge!
I was getting increasingly stressed with work, health issues etc. as you know and I decided to try to simplify my life for a wee while IFYSWIM?

Anyhoo - it seems there was an additional reason for me feeling all "het-up". I have been on a mild anti-dep for years for menopause issues. I saw different GP in Nov and she changed my tabs. I havent felt right since but it took me ages to twig that that way I was feeling might have a connection to the new tabsl duh!
I saw another doc yesterday and he said he wasnt surprised I was feeling the way I was as I had been given THE WRONG DOSE - far too low, hence feeling panicky, not sleeping etc. Got that sorted so hopefully I'l be feeling my old self!
I also have had a lot hospital appts as they are/have changed my meds for Crohn's and psoriaisis so instead of a myriad of tabs every day its just one dose a week. However this all takes time to monitor until things settle down.
So in terms of NSD's I just felt it was another thing to be worrying about.
I will/ have been keeping an eye on the thread as I love the chat and banter and I miss my chums!;)

I will be back in earnest in April - I'm not going mad spending, promise!:)

    Have a great day everyone:)

you will always be rich enough to be generous.
  • Sorry for the lack of updates but I have been really unwell with a very nasty virus. I even had to call the doctor to the house on Monday as I felt so bad :(

Been off work all week but only a few NSD days as I had to send DS on errands for milk etc. So I will declare NSD's # 5, 6 and 7 for Sunday, Monday and Thurday :D

Morning all, (((hugs))) to everyone feeling under the weather, or just feeling the need of one x

Up to 8 NSDs so far :j:j

Busy, busy here, as usual: material cutting, sewing and then clearing out the "craft room" so DS1 can use his bedroom again!! He's back from Uni on Sunday.

I may have to go shopping later, as I missed a few things off the online delivery that came last night . Had thought to leave it until tomorrow, as we are spending then - DH's birthday and we are getting a takeaway :D May need to get a few last minute things for DH though :o

    Number 3 caught on wednesday!

Nothing else to report, except wondering how I'm going to fit all today's tasks into the time before I head out to work. Probably by spending less time drinking coffee and perusing MSE... :D

Hi Jinty, glad you're still with us. Hope you start feeling a lot better when the meds are working right. I stopped taking my a/d's when we had the pups. Thought my 'babies' would do me more good. Well I haven't turned back into a zombie again yet. :D
Allie Ballie, hope you're better soon.

Hoping today will be an nsd but not counting on it yet. Will update after the shops shut. Don't trust my DH. :rotfl:

  • Nice to hear from you Jinty :)

NSD 7 yesterday. Off to my new(old) 2nd job tonight, feeling a little sick as everything has changed since I worked there 4 years ago, but I'm desparate for the money :o

Great to hear from you Jinty :).... hope the meds do their magic (I hate it when they start to "play" around with mine ....) and you're back to "yourself" very soon xx

Managed to sneak in another NSD yesterday - made out a big list for today so hopefully no need to shop again until late next week (or even longer:D) Desperately trying to get back on track!

Hope everything settles down soon JINTY as others have said its a b**ger when your meds get changed.

Jaffa - good luck - I'm sure it will be fine. Give us an update when you can
