  • IRising- that is really kind isn't it? It saves such a lot of money too as it is about £6.49 a jar at the minute:eek: - god knows where they get that price from. My Mum is clearing out her household products cupboard at Dads request because it won't close and she is making me a parcel of airfreshener, fabric conditioner and cloths and things :T All very kind and generous! And gratefully received.

Have you been to Mr T :D (looked there the other day) - I've no idea where they get some of their prices from .... a jar is *only* £4.50 in Mr A .... that's £2 mark up on a single jar of coffee  not good enough and one of the reasons I rarely shop there!

Next time it's on offer, I will buy her a replacement jar ..... (think I did this the last time too so it's probably the same one I've got back again!:D)

:j:j To the household products parcel :D

Wannabe hope your OH is on the mend soon:(

Well, No 3 today - have been in a near 5 hour meeting since lunchtime and feeling a bit exhausted to put it mildly ... very interesting but intense

Good evening all. NSD No 3 today, didn't go anywhere, just did loads of jobs around the house that I'd been putting off and actually got some washing out on the line. Sky is very clear tonight, a lovely bright moon and stars. Can see it being frosty in the morning.

    Hugs to all. Keep warm.

Hoorah! Achieved my first NSD of March yesterday! :T

Could have done with getting another tin of baby milk, some biscuits, bread and a few other essentials, but managed to hang on until today which was going to be spendy as the older kids are going swimming after school.:p

All the other days so far something has cropped up, which started me thinking about how realistically likely I was to be able to manage this challenge. But then I read about putting money in pots - so like at the start of the week (on another unavoidably spendy day) I can put in envelopes/pots the kids spending money for cubs, their swimming money etc etc and then I can avoid blowing a NSD for the sake of a pound or two :)

Well,I had a lie down on the bed with the cat for 10 minutes at eight o'clock last night, and woke up at five this morning, feeling a bit disorientated but very refreshed.Best night's sleep I've had in a long time.:o

It's early I know, but I'm expecting today to be #4.I'll be back later with an update.

Thanks LMH for the round-up.Good luck today everyone!

Wow! You must've needed it!:D I'd love a nice long sleep like that!:)

Been up since 4.45:mad: - was rather rudely awakened by the screeching of cats and then one, closely followed by the 2nd, landed on the bed and thought they'd involve me in their "disagreement".

Managed to grab one (but have the wounds for my efforts) while the other escaped ...... a bit upset tbh, they've been getting along OK for a while now - they both have "their room" which the other rarely goes into and the rest of the house is neutral - although they do have spats they've not been "serious" IYKWIM.

Unfortunately this one was - I've now got wee cat shut in the lounge (which is her room) and have just dug out the spare litter tray and brought some food/water in for her.

Think I'll have to leave them separated today and then see how they are tonight ..... last time this happened, I had to have them totally separated for 4 months:eek:, they couldn't even go outside at the same time :( really, really hope it doesn't come to that again.....

Anyway ..... hoping for another NSD today - fingers crossed - have a great day everyone:)
