I've just emptied a bag brought home from DMs and, as well as LO Roast Chicken, par boiled veg (so I can make roasties!:)) and gravy, there's a huge jar of Douwe Ed*berts coffee (which I love - I was moaning to DM the other day that there hadn't been on offer for ages and I was running low) - just phoned & asked why it was there & she said she still had 2 left from the last offer so took pity on me!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this then!!:rotfl: i don't think Mum has got used to the idea of shopping for two instead of six and still buys the same amount of food! I never refuse anything freeby I have loads of things that Mum was going to give to the charity shop like handbags, shoes, clothes evern furniture as well as the food.:)
Rising- that is really kind isn't it? It saves such a lot of money too as it is about £6.49 a jar at the minute:eek: - god knows where they get that price from. My Mum is clearing out her household products cupboard at Dads request because it won't close and she is making me a parcel of airfreshener, fabric conditioner and cloths and things :T All very kind and generous! And gratefully received.
They are retiring in a few years and hopefully we will be out of this financial mess and will be able to pay back the favours.
We didn't spend anything yesterday :T and so it is NSD 2 . OH made some stollen cake and managed to accidentally double up the yeast :rotfl:so rather than waste it he added more ingredients and we have three monster stollen loaves that we have cut into thirds and put in the freezer:T. That will keep us going for a while!
Anyway I have to prepare for a presentation on Wednesday now, which I am dreading and keep putting off. Dress rehersal tomorrow and so I better get practicing.:(
Have a nice day everyone,

:jNSD 1 for me!!!!!! :j
The good thing about working nights: you spend the day (or half the day), youre too tired to go out anywhere unless it is absolutely necessary, when you do go out its to go to work where you spend the next 12 hours!

This really gets to me now!!:rotfl:
I didn't like it when I had to move my tick from 18-24 to 25-34 on forms
NSD 1 yesterday, date yesterday, not with the guy I wanted tho, and it wasn't anything special so not worth reporting! Needless to say I bought my own drink, but it came out of my money back that I have in my purse!

NSD 5 for me please!
That also takes me to 5 in a row which was my new target after 3 in a row
I am to try and increase it to 7 in a row. Eeeek!
The fact I literally have no spare money whatsoever is really helping curb my spending!!0
