You had a bad experience, but I have to say I have always found the service to be excellent.

I've been with Three for 4 years and have found that if you have got a problem it is best to email them via the three website, the email goes to a Scottish office who then make a note on your account and then they get an Indian to call you to let you know what they are doing about the problem.

Other mobile phone providers may have call centers in england but have you ever tried to get through to them in an evening? My gf was on Orange and whenever she tried to call customer services in the evening she would be on hold for an hour before hanging up.

Does not bother me how much it costs people to call me, my 300 minutes and 1,000 texts for £15 a month means I pay nothing other than the line rental.
    Cashback earned
    Quidco : £858 :)
    Pigsback : £20 and a Beatles CD.

From a landline it costs the same to call Three as it does to call any other mobile network (T Mobile, Orange, O2).

From another mobile it costs the same as it costs to call another network.

Another good thing Three do is they give you commission (credited direct to your bill) if you refer someone and they sign up to an 18 month contract. I received £120 commission in September for referring 4 people, this is equal to 8 months free line rental.

  • Me being a bit thick, just read somewhere on 3 you get 3 providers obviously, though I didn`t know that. Does this mean since you get orange you can use it for orange wednesdays?

No all it means that if you cant get a three 3G signal then you will drop in to the O2 2G network. 3 have signed a deal with orange so instead of O2 you will drop in to the orange 2G network. As all this is new so for the next 8-12 month you will be able to access O2 and orange 2G network but towards the end of the year O2 will stop access to its 2G network.
