  • Obviously it is illegal but as the above poster said it can be done,
You just need a program to remove the DRM and if u are on a mac you will need to convert it into something iTunes recognises but with Windows you are good to go
Get Appletv2 & XBMC in and thank me later

Your valuable comment has been noted, thankyou.
It would have been even more valuable if it referred to the series in question.

I use a program called HyperCam 2. Just Google it for the free download. It basically let's you set a window size and copies the video you see on screen, plus the audio. Quality isn't brilliant, but it does allow you to copy all sorts of online stuff and keep it.

I had to buy a Y lead for the audio, so that the feed to my speakers, was fed back into the "line in" on the back of the PC. Don't set the audio too loud or it distorts.

You can record a few seconds worth of content and then play it back to see if there are any issues. There are a number of settings you can play with to get it just right.

I use another free program called Handbrake to make videos to watch on my iPhone. Handbrake creates mp4 files.

To download versions of undated programs go to: www.infradead.org/get_iplayer/html/get_iplayer.html. The instructions aren't great but once you get your head round it then it works fine.

Nothing illegal going on as you're just accessing BBC streams that exist but are well hidden. You'd be infringing copyright to redistribute or otherwise exploit the content.
  • To those giving advice about circumventing this, may I remind you about the rules of the board.

What I've never worked out, because I delete my downloads before the 30 days, is it 30 days from download, or 30 days from first opening?
