Thank you for the template letter and advice on claiming PPI here
I cannot locate a list of historical credit cards and current banks that are responsible for PPI claims. Can anyone help with:
Chase (1989) aka Chase Manhattan Bank - perhaps later JP Morgan
National & Provincial Building Society Visa
RBS AU Gold (1997) perhaps became another RBS product
Flemings Save & Prosper (1997)
Atlantic Visa (1992) perhaps Santander
Morgan Stanley perhaps Barclays
Any help appreciated
One further question. Barclaycard Gold charged an annual fee and Nat West (now RBS) charged an annual fee. Is this another form of PPI?0 -
I had some joint loans with my husband who has since died. Can I claim PPI refund on these loans and how far back can I go?0
-
If you have reasons for mis sell and the account numbers then put the claims in.
You will have to send proof (death certificate or probate certificate, the bank will tell you what you need to send ) for your Husband, as if you win the refund will be done in joint names.
Some banks hold Data for 6 years but some more than this, it helps if you have account numbers and paperwork.0 -
Lloyds tsb have told me on the phone that they have sent a very nice offer by 2nd class post. However this doesn't take into account the loan that I haven't paid them for a few years and a credit card debt with the bank. The help desk told me that this would be looked at separately.
Does this make sense to anyone? I could spend the money they have offered and then at a later date find that they demand these old debts be paid. I would have expected them to take the debts off the offer.

My thoughts too. But what do you think is likely to happen? Have you come across this before?0

Hello,
I've just joined so apologies if this question has been asked before but Ineed some advice or help if this has happened to anyone else on here.
I had an egg loan and I complained with regards to PPI on my loan. I receivea reply from egg and was surprised to see I had two loans with egg; it was along time ago!
I duly sent off proof of my address to egg and received two lettersacknowledging receipt of one change of address and not the other. I wrote backto egg but before I got a reply I received an offer on one of my loans which Iwas delighted about. I signed the acceptance and egg confirmed they would comeback to me with regards to my other loan. Yesterday I received a letter fromegg combining my two loans and giving me a new offer which was £1232.24 lessthan the first offer I received and signed. Egg said this was due to me beingpaid the first offer which I haven't received and now I'm totally confused.
There is no one you can talk about this at egg so I thinking has egg held upboth my complaints and I will receive two amounts.
Has this happen to anyone else?
Sorry for the long intro question.
Thanks,0
