Bravo for the rest of your comment (although I doubt it'll be read by those who most need to)

Hi,
Quick question. I am currently claiming for PPI on an old A&L Car Loan. The loan application is set out like the below:
Loan Amount: £A, Monthly payment: £B, Insurance: £C Monthly payment including insurance: £B+C
Is this Front loaded PPI? The Insurance Monthly payments stayed the same throughout the loan period.0 -
Just wanted to share that I got my PPI claim refund today of nearly £1200 !!
Thanks to all you guys for advice etc. I have to thank MSE big time as I probably wouldn't have bothered otherwise !:money:
Nice One !:D:D0 -

However, exactly how "old" is the policy? If it pre-dates regulation in 2005, then you'll find great difficulty getting the car dealer (if they are still trading) to consider any complaint...
Thanks. It was a 'car loan' directly through Alliance and Leicester not through a dealer from 2003. Should I write to them adding this reason for the miss-sell to 'assist' them in their decision?0 -

Thanks Moneyineptitude. I did think about posting it on the CMC-related thread, but I agree with you that that thread is an open invitation to spammers. In which case, perhaps it's exactly the right place for it...:rotfl:

You'll just have to be careful what you title it...
