Hopefully you guys can help make sure I do things in the right order - I have two months to run on a three contract (£10 per month) but because I have changed office and have no reception want to swop to Tesco Mobile now (which I have checked I have reception for in both my office, home etc).

I'm quite happy to pay out the three contract - but what's the order I do things in?

You call Three and ask for a PAC (Porting Authorisation Code).
They ask you to pay the Early Termination Fee that you do.
    They give you the PAC.
You give it to the new provider.

Thanks - I thought that was it but worth checking before I did anything.

Next question for anyone able or willing to offer an answer:

The contract I'm looking at includes BT Openzone however the tesco rep tells me that this is only available for the iphone and that I wouldn't be able to access it (even though I have a phone that takes a microsim) - even though according their own website, it's simply a browser based log-in - is the open zone looking for the browser to identify as an iphone? Or is the rep simply talking out of his hat?
