Thanks for the reply. It’s an E200 Auto, cloth seats and is in black. I believe it’s the W124 code but the later model

Damn, if it was an estate (S124) I'd have had that off you.

Black is the best colour for them too.

and then get a new battery.

Does this lead me to believe that it is a non runner - that you haven't even started it up?

If so, scrapping it is probably the best option.

and advertise it for sale if you get £300- 400 for it it's better than scrapping it

NOOO don't scrap it! I want it very much. :p Whatever you are driving around in instead is inferior to it. On a more realistic note does it work?
  • Hi all

I was wondering if you can help. My family has a Mercedes E200 (1995 - M Reg) which we need to get rid of. It's been in the family since it was 6 months old but is no longer used as people have moved on/bought new cars etc. It has been parked on the driveway for close to two years and is taking up a valuable parking spot. It is (obviously) untaxed and uninsured. Mechanically there is nothing wrong with the car and it still (well when I drove it last) drives like a dream. I have advertised it at about £700 but we have had no interest at all!
Can anyone suggest a way of shifting it? Would webuyanycar be the best option?

Advertise it for £300ono, that should get it gone.

It's just a scrap car, but at £300 the exporters should take to it.
